After reading about so many people's horrific moving complaints on many companies we were terrified about hiring a moving company. Daley Moving was an untried recommendation from our realtor but we trust her so I called. I'm so glad I did! This was the most stress free, best experience we have ever had with a move! Everyone was wonderful to work with! They came out to the house, gave us an estimate and even came in under their estimate! Their price was very reasonable. Ours was a big load and we knew it was a big job. They were on time and incredibly efficient, 2 days to load, 2 days drive and then deliver!! Talk about incredible service!! We had them do a partial pack and everything they packed was over packed, nothing was broken! Things we packed were not either! They were even able to move a hot tub all those miles with no problem!! I can't say enough great things about this company and am so thankful they made our move so easy! Thanks Daley Moving! (Ps- they do not request customers post reviews on any sites)

Review: Several of my household and personal items were broken and damaged beyond repair. Some items missing. Articals of clothes ruined ,daleys repacked several of my items and in storage they got water damaged.When bringing this serious matter to Daleys,for several weeks I did not get a conculsive answer.After filing claim forms,I was told Daleys would not honor any claim made. I was sent a check for 30 dollars.Insult to injury.Desired Settlement: I would like total reimbursement for damages and lostgoods in the sum of 850.00

To whom it may concern:

This letter is in response to the complaint filed by [redacted], claim #[redacted] on October 30, 2013. Ms. [redacted]'s items came into storage March 1, 2013 and upon arrival to her home we observed that her items were not properly packed.

We requested that a waiver be signed that stated they (the customer) "understand that Daley Moving & Storage arrived to move the residence on [redacted] which was not properly packed. Items such as lamps glassware and other breakables were put in baskets and other boxed that are unacceptable to be moved with proper care. I will not hold Daley Moving & Storage responsible for any breakage of these items as they were packed by the homeowner, and she refused to have the movers pack them properly". This waiver was signed by [redacted], the son of [redacted].

Ms. [redacted] selected the basic .60 cents per pound per article for valuation on 3/1/2013 and 7/11/2013. Although she signed a waiver stating that Daley Moving & Storage would not be responsible for the damage incurred by items packed improperly, we sent her a check for $30.00 in the spirit of goodwill.

Attached please find a copy of the signed waiver and letter to Ms. [redacted] dated 10/18/13.

I am rejecting this response because: Although what Daley’s says is true, once my possessions were stored by Daley’s for several months ,they took it upon themselves to repack most all of my items and the results , most of my items were broken, missing, or stained. Most of my clothes got wet ruining some permanently, and otherneeding to be expensively dry cleaned. My flatware is missing and china has been

broken leaving me to replace all of them. A couch leg was broken and the fabric

has suffered severe staining. Several of my son’s precious childhood items

never arrived. Adding to my son’s items, some of his items were also damaged

beyond repair. A pair of shoes has undergone damage which appears to be the

teeth marks of an animal. Although Daley’s did send me a check for 30 dollars,

I have found that it is impossible to replace one of these items with this dollars

amount let alone the entire list.
