Scott at Dallaire Mechanical took care of a flood repair for me. He quoted me the best price and did Excellent work.I strongly recommend him for plumbing and renovations

Scott has completed a couple projects for me now and he is a guy you can trust will get the job done. He provides you the information and keeps you informed about how things are coming along with timelines. He is reliable and trustworthy which are two important qualities when going through a small or large renovation. He is flexible in his work and cares about his customers!
We got our tiling job done by this company. An excellent service was provided, they were willing to go the extra mile to get the job done without any hesitation. We would definitely recommend them.
We hired Scott D due to the fact that the reviews on this page were great. However, It was one of the biggest mistakes we've ever made. He *** left us *** with an unfinished renovation and money he owed to us.
1. *** His worker told us they had asked him about potential issues and he would respond with "we don't have time," to fix it. We had to pay 1000 dollars extra to get our door moved ***.
2. His workers showed up one morning and asked if we had spoken to Scott. We hadn't and netiher had they. He was then unreachable for two days *** At this point the reno stopped because no one could get a hold of Scott. Things got worse at this point. *** He kept saying he would show up and get the reno done. ***
Finally, we confronted Scott and asked him for some of the money returned since we had a less than half finished job ( just a rough in) and had paid him 75% of the money owed on the reno. ***. At this point, *** we never received any money from him.
We are out 2500 dollars and have an unfinished reno months later. We would like him to pay us 2000 dollars so we can finish the renovation.
I have spent five years putting my blood sweat and tears into building company that people can rely on and trust. I chose Revdex.com to handle any complaints because they keep a level playing field they do not side to one person Regardless of who’s paying the bills and there a company that you can trust. This is an example of the last people are willing to go to to get discounts or free money. If I could go back I would not have taken this job.

The customer asked me to finish in January due to it being Christmas this request was made in the middle of December I agreed to commence the project on 2 January and ended on 14 December for the Christmas holidays. I requested that we start work again on the third as I was still out of town. They did not respond and I found out on 3 January when I tried to commence work, that they had hired my worker full time to complete the project for less money. They proceeded to ask for a 2,000$ refund. I responded no, We had successfully completed HVAC Ruffin, waterproofing, electrical Ruffin, all framing, electrical Ruffin and we’re ready to complete the tile and final installation. They found a way to save money by hiring my worker. At this point it cut and dry they wanted to proceed without me. I lost an uphill battle. I feel there is no need for any reimbursement of any kind because the project has almost been completed I ask for payments throughout the installation process to keep a fair playing field. I still had one payment left to recive. we were ahead of schedule and because they found someone to complete the job They feel that the last payment was to be refundable. This is not the case. As we had rounded home plate and was no room for a refund.
Scott has completed a number of projects in my house now. He’s always been professional, reliable and just nice to deal with. He is detail-oriented and kept me informed of every step along the way. I can highly recommend his services.

Dallaire Mechanical & Design I can't speak highly enough about. Scott is professional, prompt, respectful and extremely knowledgeable with the work that he does. From our first meeting until the last one Scott made sure we knew what work was being done and for what reason. In the future my wife and I would definitely use his services again with other projects.
Terrible service. *** He then proceeded *** me into paying the balance. He showed up and started tearing the structure out, *** DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
This person did not pay they’re bill as agreed upon. Structure was built ***. I had no choice but to tear it down. This is an example of people who hire contractors and do not pay.

Having a bought a new home recently and needing to wrap up a list of defects from the original construction, I was pursuing the builder to complete the repairs prior to my warranty expiring. The builder brought in DMD and arranged a personal meeting with Scott. Scott and I compiled a list of repairs. From the first meeting to the completion of the last repair, Scott stayed in touch to keep me apprised of time lines for repairs, was onsite several times to support his staff and finally completed a walk through with me to show me the work that had been completed.
In closing, I am very confident to give DMD my highest recommendation and will definitely use their services again when the need arises.
When finishing the basement of my new home I decided against hiring a general contractor and found individual tradesman recommended to me by friends for each job. I wanted to cut cost but also be in more control and ensure I was getting quality work. Being an Indian man, I am always looking for a good deal! However, in my pursuit of cheaper options, I was left unsatisfied with some of the work that was done prior to working with Dallaire Mechanical and Design.
Nearing the end of the project I was referred to Scott to do the flooring and stairs. I am normally not one to write reviews but my experience with DMD has warranted one. I was skeptical at first since the company is fairly new but I was thoroughly impressed with the work and the time it took. Scott went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and all my requests were fulfilled (and that’s not easy since I am quite demanding!). Scott is professional, straight forward, easy to deal with and competitively priced. As I mentioned before, Scott and his crew do excellent work in a timely manner and stand by it. Their workmanship and attention to detail is undeniable. My only regret is that I wasn’t introduced to Scott earlier. I would have worked with him from the get go since his scope is quite broad and, judging by the outstanding job done on my floor and stairs, I have no doubt his other work is also of a high standard. I can’t recommend him enough. Any sort of work I need in the future I will definitely be contacting him.
Last Friday, 11/30/2019, I had the opportunity to have Dallaire Mechanical & Design (DMD) assist my build with some warranty work inside my house. Scott and Milo were on time and commenced the work immediately. They explained to my wife and I how would the repair process be executed, timelines, etc. They were extremely professional, diligent, amicable, and just nice to work with. They finished promptly and with high quality; ensuring we were satisfied and happy. With this, I must say I will definitely contact/work with Scott and DMD for any
future repairs or renovations. I would highly recommend Dallaire Mechanical & Design for any job, large or small. Very impressed indeed.
In October I contacted Scott at Dallaire Mechanical to do some plumbing repairs and installation.
They show up on time, every time. From the first contact, to work appointments and follow up, it all exceeded my expectations.
The jobs were very well done, timely, and in a professional and friendly manner.

Ive had scott and his team into my house to do some electrical and was very pleased they added wiring into my addition. Fixed plugs and circuits in my house as well as fixed a previous wiring job that a previous contractor had done that was sub par. But the guys with Dallaire Mechanical have done amazing work for me. So much so that I have hired them to do a full bathroom renovation for my partner and I. I would 100 % reccomend them to anyone looking for fantastic work at a very competitive price.
We had Dallaire Mechanical/Scott in our rental properties to perform various renovations. He did a complete reno in the bathroom which involved taking down the walls, insulating and then replacing the walls as well as doing tiling around the tub to the ceiling and replacing the plumbing fixtures. He also demolished the front steps and ensured the new ones were built to standard. He also performed the same job at our other rental property which involved taking them apart, pouring pilings (done by hand) as well as rebuilding them. He also built railings on both sets of stairs. He was very professional,knowledgeable and friendly . The estimates provided were accurate and was the price paid in the end. He is very fussy and expects his staff to perform the work up to his standards. We would definitely recommend his work to other people.
failed to complete the work per the original contract, which we were willing to amend and accept a partial job upon completion of a list of deficiencies. *** never even started the deficiency list and now is no longer reachable by the phone number we have.
It is with extreme emotion and embarrassment that this complaint/lack of progress has been brought to my attention Dallaire mechanical and design DOES NOT leave jobs incomplete or of anything but absolute perfection. All work is completed by certified journeyman or an extremely experienced traidsmen, whom of which are all under supervision by myself daily. I was unavailable for the week I missed two phone calls made by *** to due to a critical family emergency. Once made aware of this situation, I am 100% committed Taking care of any oversights. Dallaire mechanicals number one objective is 100% customer satisfaction. I have spoke to Derrick and I am taking care of this issue.
