We installed the control board on Mr***'s unit 08/15/due to a not cooling situationAfter replacing the part the unit appeared to be operating normallyMr [redacted] called back in on 11/18/indicating the unit was still not operating at which time we sent out a technician who determined that the sealed system was contaminated and the unit could not be repaired reliablyApparently the sealed system had been left open by another company and exposed to contaminants for a year prior to us servicing itWe will process a refund of the amount paid of $as requested by the customer

It is unfortunate that MS [redacted] was not satisfied with our servicesWe installed the part needed as directed from the manufactureMs [redacted] was still not satisfied with her dryer having lint issuesUpon return our technician could not find anything wrong with the unitWe had advised Ms[redacted] to seek assistance with the manufacture

I have spoken with Mrs*** about her service experience and she agreed to have our technician come out and recheck the unit for further issuesThe appointment was canceled by Mr***I spoke with Mr *** to see how I could make it right for themHe advised he just wanted his money
back and will seek a different repair serviceI have issued a refund for 150.00.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. ***, the customer relations representative with Lake Appliance Repair, told me that the technician, one of their best ones according to her, did not know that he had to get my approval for a repair prior to doing the work. This is ridiculous and obviously a lie since bait and switch schemes would be covered in Customer Relations 101. It is clear to me that when someone complains, the business receptionist will say a manager or owner is not available for hours (I've now read the *** reviews)When they told me they were available, other customers on *** who called at the same time were being told they were not. Very dishonest business!!! I read the employment advertisement for their technician positions. They expect their techs to do 8-service calls per day. Impossible to do that many and do them correctly. I don't understand how Revdex.com can give Lake Appliance Repair an A+ Rating. Although this business has refunded my money, I will never get my time back. This has taken me many hours to correct

After a stop payment was placed on the check Mrs*** wrote us for $I reached out and spoke with *** *** She explained to me the situation that occured with our technician on March 14thI apologized for the experience she receivedWhat Mrs*** experienced is not something that
regularly happens so I thanked her for giving me an opportunity to listen to her situation so we can become a better service company and deal with the technician appropriatelyWe explained how my husband and I have owned Lake Appliance for years now and the reason why we started our business was because we wanted to be better than ALL of our competitors, offering a service that customers raved about, not complained aboutI also told Mrs*** that I would have loved the opportunity to make the situation right before she stopped payment on her checkWe are a stand up company and would have been happy to rip the check up without them occuring a fee from their bank if they would have reached out to the ownerWe will accept the refund/cancellation of the $check, and if Mror Mrs*** would like the $bank fee reiumbursed we would just ask that they upload a copy of the charge from the bank

We spoke to the Whirlpool technical assistance line at at 10:AM on 10/12/who verified that we had installed the correct part on 11/5/Whirlpool has created a case file on *** *** appliance for future reference They confirmed that in April of this year revision B on part
number *** did come out but prior to that date revision A was correctWhen we arrived to the home the refrigerator complaint was no operations, after we installed the part, which was recommended by *** *** Tips the unit powered up and appeared to work properlyWe checked our records and do not have a copy of the complaint letter that *** *** indicates was sent in September of this year and we also do not have record of *** *** calling us back alerting us to any problems after we left his home in November of last yearWe guarantee our parts and labor for one year and if he had given us the opportunity to come back out we would of replaced the part with the newer part, which is in our stockWe would of then sent the original part back to *** for full credit.

I am rejecting this response because:This business technician is not being truthfulHe would not look at anythingI also sent him before he came a photo of the blower replacement part with lint clogged in itPlease see both photos of the original blower part with lint clogged in it that he removed after submitting photos of our laundry with lint balls all over them the manufacturer instructed them to replace the blowerThe next photo is the replacement blower part that is white in colorAfter running a load the next day after repair with this new blower again there was lint on clothesI removed the lint screen and could see the blower was clogged with lint as advised by Lakes Appliance tech the blower is not suppose to get clogged with lint everand that’s why it was replacedThis tech and his boss made the decision to advise the manufacturer to have us seek a second opinion without coming to do what he was scheduled to do which was to reinspect the machineAs well as the washer which was on the schedule to be looked at due to water leaking into the door sealAlso see photo which shows brown mold growing in thereThis company is dishonestI have communicated with *** and submitted all photos*** told me they will be putting in a complaint on this company as wellThis just might cost you a very large account for warranty repairs in the future*** also is very displeased with lakes applianceThey are handling this issue accordingly for us.? I do not need anything going forward as far as requested photos sent on my behalfI was able to send everything over.? Shame on Lakes Appliance for their bad customer serviceInstead of calling me to tell me they chose not to reinspect this unprofessional technician decided to have me wait the 9-scheduled appointment I took off work and lost Pay for just so he could arrive walk into my place and tell me “ I will not inspect going forward my boss and I are recommending to *** to have you start over and get a second opinion”.I ask Revdex.com file this under a different category going forward under complaint reviews of this company for me.? I am rejecting this response because:This business technician is not being truthful. He would not look at anything.
