Very surprised. Received several pieces of Dallas Pridgen jewelry over the last couple of years. 3 of them turned a strange grey color, like tin. Wouldn't polish up. I returned one piece as defective 2 weeks ago and THEY RETURNED IT WITH A POLISHING CLOTH AND A REPAIR BILL! (would be funny if it wasn't so sad. ????????????)

I purchased a bracelet from Outrider and I got it quickly. When I tried it on, I noticed the clasp was broken. It would not stay closed and I thought that I would immediately lose the bracelet if I wore it. I contacted the company and was told to just "stick it in the mail". I was uncomfortable with that (it was expensive) and wanted a shipping label at their cost and paperwork to prove return since it was their error. I did receive the label and sent it back. The tracking information showed that the package was delivered. I have not received my refund. I have spoken to people on the phone asking that I am refunded with no success, even though the lady acknowledged my return. I have contacted them through the website with no reply. Now, weeks after the package was delivered I cannot even get through on the phone as the lines are "unavailable". So not I do not have the bracelet, or my money back. So much for their 100% money back guarantee. Failure of business to honor contractual terms regarding price, delivery, failure to notify of delivery, billing issues. Failure to honor committmentsI am a repeat customer for 14k gold pendants w/18" rope chain at a quoted price of $119.00; special order "numbers" used for presentation to lady student athletes (on senior night). 45 days ago I ordered 2 pendants [redacted] for presentation on OCT 30, 2016. [redacted] accepted my order and commended me for the many years of being a loyal customer. [redacted] acknowledged that in accordance with company policy the items would be shipped at the agreed price within 2 weeks but not later than Sep 20. When I did not receive the product, I contacted [redacted] and was told that they were awaiting shipment of gold for molding but not to worry. On 26 Sep I called again and spoke with Dallas Pridgen (company owner) he informed me that although he "appreciated" my long history and was proud that I used this product for gifts that he was losing money and barely able to meet cost to produce the product and any future orders would be priced differently. This is in contradiction to the current published price for the item on their website. He did state that the items would be expedited to be received by me on Monday Oct 3, 2016. On Sunday evening, at 1729 hrs CDT, 2 OCT 2016 I received a call from [redacted] the agent with whom I had been ordering from and he stated he had returned from vacation and that the product had not even been manufactured and that there would be no way to meet my delivery. He further stated that he was most confused by operations within the company; did not understand the behavior of Dallas Pridgen. Now, two outstanding young lady student athletes will not receive their necklace. Method of payment was to be by CC of which they have the necessary numbers and codes. [redacted] advised me to cancel the order immediately which I did verbally and then confirmed by e-mail to the Dallas Pridgen website. I have been special ordering numerous pendants for over 8 years from this company and never had a problem until the "owner" became involved. I find the actions of Dallas Pridgen reprehensible, unethical, in violation of the stated terms and conditions of the company website and ordering details and delivery conditions. I find that Dallas Pridgen failed to notify me of any change to the contract, failed to honor the stipulated delivery conditions as stated and then attempted to "blackmail" me into charging more for the product than advertised to ensure a delivery date that he never intended to meet. I am amazed that [redacted], an employee of the company insinuated that there were "difficulties" within the company, then offered an apology and then suggested that I terminate the order immediately. when I offered to do this on Monday, 3 OCT 2016, he stated that he could accept the order termination immediately. Dallas Pridgen has demonstrated a total lack of respect for customers, especially long-standing order history; deceitful business practices and flat dishonesty. I have total disrespect for this company and feel that they should be censured and consumers warned of this egregious behavior.Desired SettlementI feel that Dallas Pridgen Jewelry; ergo Dallas Pridgen owes me a written formal apology. Further, that the two items in question be provided me AT NO COST WHATSOEVER. Specifically, 2 ea 14k gold numerical pendants; numbers [redacted] with 18" fine rope chains; specified at a retail cost of $119.00 each. I also feel that Dallas Pridgen Jewelry remove any reference to 2 week delivery for special order items and that Dallas Pridgen Jewelry establish policies and print same informing consumers of a notification plan/procedure for special item orders if and when they are unable to perform and meet the implied and published delivery schedules. More info received from the consumer:Dallas Pridgen Jewelry fabricated the two necklaces/pendants and overnight delivered them to me on this date (04 OCT 2016). The company is not charging me for these items. Thank you for your assistance. While I appreciate what they were motivated to do, I still do not believe the company or the owner+ is a creditable and honest business endeavor. I will not order from them again under any circumstance. As the saying goes "Burn me once your fault; burn me twice, my fault". As to the specific claim it is satisfactorily resolved.
