Apartment was not as advertised. After discussion with manager, a verbal agreement was made to refund rent and deposit upon return of the office manager. Two witnesses were present for the agreement. Since that conversation, they refuse to respond to emails, phone calls, and text messages regarding the matter, despite having the apartment in question back up for rent. Attempted to go to physical office address and no office was located at the address.

Refund I am requesting a refund as agreed upon on December 28, 2019 in the amount of $943.
The business has communicated to the consumer regarding the details of what needs to happen.

I have not received any communication from the company since December 28, 2019. After agreeing to the refund, the manager later backtracked and said I would receive it when the apartment was re-rented. He proceeded to not have the apartment available until February 1, 2020. Which, if that were the case my lease granted me a refund if the apartment needed repairs that required 30+ days of work. He also proceeded to list the apartment in question for a higher price than other apartments at the same building with the same layout to ensure the apartment would continue to be vacant. The unit is currently not listed for rent at all which if it is no longer vacant, I expect to be refunded for the agreed upon amount of $943. All verbal agreements had two witnesses, who would be willing to verify any information given. Pictures and screenshots were used to document all other information.
