I knew Chris [redacted] for four years, and his family are friends of my daughter My daughter had a roof put on by Chris I wanted two decks removed and a concrete patio built Chris told me a new deck would be best He said the work would start 10/31/and finish in two weeks In mid November, his crew removed the two decks on the property, then never returned In December, I emailed Chris and let him know I wanted a refund of the balance I paid He responded on 01/06/and said a check was issued (But it was not.) He did not specify an amount He would not respond to email or text after that On 01/30/17, my daughter confronted him and insisted he should return my money He told my daughter that he would refund $7,if I released him from liability I signed release papers that day On 02/06/17, I got an email from Chris stating that his bank released the check As of tonight, 02/09/17, I have not received the check My yard is a total wreck, and no egress or steps from the back of the house Electric line is lying on the ground Yard and tree debris that was paid to be removed is all over the yard The sliding door from the dining room will not open/shut since the deck was removed.Contractor kept trying to get more $ from me, telling me I need a new roof, cost of $9,000, and a fence at the edge of the property, minimum cost $2,
