Review: I have a new car insurance policy with Plymouth since 07/12/13. Made several attempts to contact Daman Associates to terminate insurance with them. Every time I called and explained the issues I was promised to be called back "in three minutes" and never was. Finally I spoke to [redacted], the manager, sent them a written request to terminate my insurance with them, provide me the cancellation number and refund my money. Never heard fro them.Desired Settlement: I need to terminate my insurance with them and money refund

The request to remove the 2012 mercedes was received on 12/10/12 and vehicle was removed.

There were no requests to cancel policy . The request to remove the Mercedes was faxed. A cancellation request can also be faxed (An insurance policy is a legal contract & requires a signature in order to be terminated)

The insured actualy paid $1,517.17 on July 9th. If the policy was to be terminated, this payment shouldn't have been made.

How to fix this: The insured can fax/scann their new declarations page showing the date policy started & sign a request to cancel & we can backdate & return all premiums from inception on new policy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

However, I have to mention that

1) a lot of attempts were made to get a cancellation number regarding my LEXUS by the phone. You can check my phone company records.

2) declaration pages and request to cancel Lexus insurance were sent to Daman Associates twice and once to NJ Skylands Insurance of Association (the main office) by certified mail.
