Review: I'm not happy to that I have to file a complaint on D'Ames as I did enjoy the service; however, I have a zero tolerance for businesses that perform "bait and switch" practices. On 09/04/13, my wife decided to purchase a massage package for me. She knew that my feet had been acting up and she wanted to get me a foot massage. She called D'Ames and they told her they only had 30-minute foot massage packages but had 1-hour packages and could mix 30-minutes foot massage and 30-minutes for the rest of the body. She agreed to this 1-hour massage package for $85. She went to D'Ames to pay and confirmed that she was paying $85 for a 60 minute massage. That same day, I went and received the massage and teh receptionist even confirmed the 1-hour package that my wife purchased for me; however, I noticed taht it seemed to end much earlier than 60-minutes, but wasn't 100% sure at first. I checked the time when I got back to my car and noticed that in fact I was massaged for about 50 minutes when my wife paid for 60 (which normally wouldn't complain over 10-minutes, but considering one can purchase a 1-hour massage for less than $40 just about anywhere and since they lied, I am upset). When I got home, I saw a receipt in my e-mailing confirming purchase of $85 for 50 minutes. My This upset me because they LIED to both my wife when she purchased this and to me when I arrived for the massage. My wife called the next day and they really didn't care that she was lied to. They even went as far to say that with the time that I was sitting in the lobby filling out paperwork, it was probably close to 60-minutes (I was there 15-minutes early to fill out paperwork and no one pays to fill out paperwork! Once again, I'm not happy that I have to file a complaint on this company as I enjoyed the service even though I believe they are rather overpriced compared to a regular massage place, but the fact that they are performing BAIT and SWTICH practices and lying to customers cannot be tolerated.Desired Settlement: They need to stop BAIT and SWITCH practices immediately and should appologize to customers whom they have lied to.

Response:
I am very sorry that an misunderstanding occurred. D'ames Day Spa only offers 50 minute, 80 minute and 110 minutes services. I tried to explain to the client's wife. We really stress to use the correct timing but because the appointment is booked on the computer for an hour that includes the turnout around time. The time around time is undressing and redressing along with changing the linens. We might have said he would be here an hour for the correct timing but we never say our services are an hour.
