I brought my Dad’s Benrus Citation watch in to Daminc Jewelers on September [redacted]2013 to have it repaired. It did not work properly. I brought in again for repair on January **, 2014. I called the store on several occasions to check the status and did not get an answer. I went to the store and spoke to [redacted], he said “why did you come here? I will call you when it is ready.” I did not receive a call, went to the store on Wednesday January [redacted]2014 there was a sign on the door "out of business". I have called repeatedly and have not received an answer. This watch is valued at $2000.00 Daminc’s Jeweler appraised it $2000.00. My Father had the watch when he was in the service in the 1950’s, it has deep sentimental value. Please help and advise me on how to resolve this problem. I have paid a total of $450.94 for repairs, please see receipt attached.
