Chicago Basketball Academy is said to be a school around the basketball economy and is for high school students. This fall began their inaugural year and they have/had 8 original students. 3 have left the school and 5 were left as of last Friday. However, there are no instructors/teachers/curriculum. These high school boys meet at State Farm (1631 N. Milwaukee) after receiving a phone call or text from the founder the evening before. While there the boys report not having any educational instruction. One boy is paying for room and board as he traveled from Croatia to attend Chicago Basketball Academy. He has not been provided any accommodations and is currently staying with the family of another student even though his parents are paying for room and board. The boys are fed a bag of chips that they must share amongst the five of them for lunch. The boys came to be a part of a premier basketball high school; however, they do not have any organized practice schedule or practice site. With no teachers/instructors/curriculum/practice schedule, these young boys and their families have put their trust into a school and the founder and they have been deceived.
