Damsco Building

Review: Damsco Building installed siding and painted trim around my house. There were many deficiencies in the workmanship, including house wrap sticking out between siding panels; caulking missed allow rainwater to enter a bedroom; section of siding and trim unpainted. Many calls led to no response. Only when I filed a Revdex.com complaint did they come back to correct the work. Subsequently, I discover panels were installed incorrectly leaving gaps for flying squirrels to enter my attic in addition to the interior wall of front entry. It took many months and much effort to rid the house of 9 flying squirrels at a cost of almost $700. Damsco did not respond to my phone calls to make the needed repairs. After months of working with another company to rid my house of squirrels and make the repairs, I requested from Damsco reimbursement of just the cost I paid to the other company, not including my own time and efforts. This was done by sending Damsco extensive documentation including photos and receipts. I received the mailing receipt indicating that my mailing was received, but was never called or contacted regarding my request. Therefore, I am filing this complaint as I told him further steps would be taken.Desired Settlement: I am requesting $688.99 as reimbursement of my costs to Critter Control plus $211.01 for my time and expenses working with Critter Control to correct problems caused by Damsco and my time and expenses contacting Damsco by phone and mail for a total of $900.00
