Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The statements made about myself and my sister are untrue I had a very reputable roofing company come out after I noticed shingles protruding up from roof to inspect the work the other contractor didThey told me he put shingles over a rotted area of the roof that has a previous hole and that the shingles are not properly cut to go into the gutters which can cause water to go back up under the roof and the chimney work he did was unfinishedHe totally left complete rust on chimney cap and there are photo's and documentation to prove thisMy sister has made numerous appointments with him to finish the work he started and he would not show up and the work is still undone and getting worse because it left unfinished area's that have now sustained additional damageI believe he over charged for the work he did and did a very unprofessional jobHe has also texted threats to my sister and IAnyone getting any work done by him, I would say be very aware, he takes the money when he knows woman won't go up on a roof to check his work and do the least and charge the mostUnprofessional and has not made any appointments with either of us to resolve our issues Sincerely, [redacted]

The dry wall over her car port had a bunch of mold.  This damage happened long before this hailstorm and couldn’t have been from that one storm.  I told her I did not do drywall but could send someone out.  She asked how much it would cost and I said I’m not sure, but possibly around...

$300 for the interior.  The man I sent out quoted a price and she said I told her maybe $300– which I emphasized was my estimate and I did not know.  All the drywall dried up and cracked when I replaced, which was not my fault.She had an old chimney cap on her fireplace.  I told her I would check into it and did not know what to charge since it is not a standard size chimney cap.  I upgraded her to an architectural shingle without charge and she still hasn’t even paid me the deductible of $1,000.  She paid me $6,400 for the roof and the insurance company paid her over $8,454, so I’m not sure what she has done with the rest of the money.  They did not pay her anything from drywall.  She won’t use this extra money for repairs and just wants everyone to do them for free.  I sent the paperwork in for her depreciation.  She knew this drywall was bad and I told her I couldn’t do anything since I do not do drywall.I have not had a complaint in 20 years and now two sisters are coming after me.
