Dan Hatfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Reviews (15)

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to meI spoke with Kathy E [redacted] from [redacted] She had me fax in my written cancellationI also called back into [redacted] a few weeks after sending the fax to verify they received itI spoke with the cancellation department and they told me that I was completely cancelled and that a refund check was sent to the administrator on June I assume that the refund is prorated so hopefully you can go back to the original time I called in as I have been waiting since June for refundsIts now almost OctoberI would prefer that you just mail the refund checks to me as I have a hard time stopping in to the dealer with my work scheduleI appreciate the response and hope to have this resolved soon

I reject the response because I was not aware of the vehicle having issues at the time of purchaseThe reason I bought the extended warranty was because there could be some arise in the time of having the vehicleI feel that your business has done this to mamy other consumers and found that there were multiple issues that was wrong with the vehicle when it was sold to me a feel that you knew of the issues before you sold itThe gentleman there is not my husband and is not the person that purchased the carI AM and I feel that I HAVE BEEN DONE WRONG!!!!! What ever his scene, should have no regards on my purchase of a vehicle or the repairThe reason he was angry is because I was promissed on day two of owning my vehicle (he was there) when I found the issues that the items would be "TAKEN CARE OF" (words of Jeff the GM) and to put some miles on itSo my next question is how many times have you told the customer to put some miles on it? How much money have you gotten from the extended warranty in pre-existing conditions and how many cars are you selling that isnt up to par with road standards? I feel that I returned the second day with issues and they need to be fixed or the car returned no matter what seen was made by someone not on an agreement with youYour just using that as an excuse not to fix something you know you shouldI do not have any company files and it was over five.hundred dollars that was quoted to meI also know that I have contacted you multiple times with being tild I will get a call back and no one has my attorney wants me to give you time to resolve the issue before pursuing another route and I feel I have given long enough

Ms [redacted] stated she had issues with the vehicle, she said she broke down the day after she purchased the vehicle, her salesman Arron went to her location, and started the vehicle with no issuesThe vehicle was then checked by service, same day, no codes where present to provide any information on the issues she stated she was having, We then called the Chevrolet dealership to make sure there where no open recalls and there were noneWe told them we needed to see it happen because we had no issues with it in our shop nor where any of our employees able to duplicateWe then replaced the fuel pump relay after our shop seen it wasn't starting properly, it still started but it wasn't starting properlyThus why the shop changed the fuel pump relayMs [redacted] has continually made her presence known by repeatedly calling our shop manager and salesman several times within a day as well as showing up to our shop managers house, unannounced on his off dayWe have been trying to see the issue she is having with the vehicle, but NONE of our employees have been able to duplicate her complaints

From: [redacted] Sent: Thursday, October 06, 8:PMTo: [email protected]: Addition to complaint.I have copies from the auto body shop stating all the repairs needed and the head gasket leakAlong with that there was other issues with the car I had taken care of out of pocket dueI have receipts regarding the parts that I paid for-All tires needed new rotors and brakes *$in repairs*-Battery died second day I had vehicle IN THEIR LOT, they had to jump it just to get it running*$for battery*- windshield wipers were torn to point unusable, immediately replaced out of pocket*$20*-They advertised a working am/fm CD player radio, CD player is busted upon from day 1- Had to drive up there second day for them to fix the automatic window in rear passenger side- driver window still doesn't roll up of rolled all way downGets stuck till cars turned off and back onThey said window was fineThis car is borderline a lemon and all I'm asking is head gasket fixed and the cv axel/tie rod bolt

I caused no scene, I didnt even raise my voice, so what you are telling me is the actions of someone else is causing me consequences? Where does that make sense? The only thing I left with was the estimate I was given by Jeff and told to leave! There was no sounds when it was test drove and the only reason the work was so extensive was because it was drivien like that because of Jeff telling me to put miles on itThe whole reason your saying you wont fix it is because of the actions of someone else? I DONT SEE HOW THAT IS FAIR!

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:When I got the vehicle I gave them copies of my driving privileges, Insurance card, income verificationI have copies of cover sheets, text messages between me and Wesley regarding financing my vehicle, Finance company they claim approved me when I signed the papers for the vehicle stated they never turned the portion in and my driving privileges are valid from Jan 19, 2016- June 29, They are not responsible for court fees, informed the courts they where repossessing the vehicle to get it out, I spoke with *** *** Cleveland, OhioI Have not received any receipts showing how much they paid for towing, drivers or anythingKept getting responses stating they where looking for a finance company to finance me due to the face after they had me sign a contract for financing and giving them a down payment for the vehicle that it never went throughthey can not say they could not get in touch with me because I left several messagesI have saved text messages as well after the fact stating they will find financing for the company and even spoke with a relative of mine stating the same thingI have witnesses through this whole experience

Sorry your are not satisfied with the prior answerI will also not answer questions that don't pertain to YOUR issuesOther customers transactions is confidential and not needed for disclosureYes you did take the paperworkThe entire service department can verify that because the scene you caused when Richard, our service tech asked for the paperwork backDue to you or your significant others display and yours, we still stand by our decisionWe tried to work with you, I disagree with your statement about knowing of that the vehicle may have issues before you signed the "claimed" extent of the repairs needed would have been noticed during the test drive of the vehicle, if you elected to test drive it before you purchased itPlease do disclose your attourney's information we can contact them

The Complainant was driving in Cleveland Ohio on suspended license/driving privileges. While in Cleveland she was pulled over and the car was impounded. We had to pay her court cost, fines, and meet with a judge to get this car out of impound. Due to the time it was impound, the cost to hire...

drivers, . We spent more money getting the vehicle back than what she had out down, We are not pursuing her for the balance she owes at this time.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. I spoke with Kathy E[redacted] from [redacted]. She had me fax in my written cancellation. I also called back into [redacted] a few weeks after sending the fax to verify they received it. I spoke with the cancellation department and they told me that I was completely cancelled and that a refund check was sent to the administrator on June 30. I assume that the refund is prorated so hopefully you can go back to the original time I called in as I have been waiting since June for refunds. Its now almost October.. I would prefer that you just mail the refund checks to me as I have a hard time stopping in to the dealer with my work schedule. I appreciate the response and hope to have this resolved soon.

[redacted],We are sorry that this has taken longer than you anticipated. as always it's never our intent to have issues get this far. As, soon as we received your complaint  my controller contacted [redacted]. They informed us that the shield was never cancelled and it was still active. We made...

them aware of what was in your complaint and my controller (Kim) is in the final stages. We are waiting for [redacted] to release the funds, but we do have a check cut ready for you. If you want you may come and pick it up at any time or we can mail out as soon as we get the funds from [redacted]. Everything is cancelled now so we will get the funds but don't want you to wait any longer. We are sorry about the whole mix up. May I ask who you talked to at [redacted] so we can let them know , they told us they didn't have record of it.

We are unable to take back or fix her vehicle, due to the actions of the customer and the customers believed husband in our showroom. At the time of purchase the customer was aware that there may be issues with this vehicle and that is why she purchased an [redacted] warranty with no deductible. I am...

unable to confirm the repairs needed for the vehicle in question because the customer kept company documents that were used in the repair appraisal. To the best of our knowledge  the warranty was going to cover $1,000 of the repairs and the customer was responsible for an estimate of $240. We never turn our customers away in these situations,we are always open to help with these issues. While the customers were in the showroom her and the General Manager where discussing options to take care of what was wrong and her "husband" took it upon himself to make a horrible scene, by pacing back and forth in  the show room yelling "[redacted] this place, Your [redacted]ing liars, Called the General Manager a [redacted]. He kept continuing and had to be asked to leave the premises and neither of them was to return and we were not going to help with the customers responsibility of 240 dollars.

the issues she stated she was having, We then called the Chevrolet dealership to make sure there where no open recalls and there were none. We told them we needed to see it happen because we had no issues with it in our shop nor where any of our employees able to duplicate. We then replaced the fuel pump relay after our shop seen it wasn't starting properly, it still started but it wasn't starting properly. Thus why the shop changed the fuel pump relay. Ms. [redacted] has continually made her presence known by repeatedly calling our shop manager and salesman several times within a day as well as showing up to our shop managers house, unannounced on his off day. We have been trying to see the issue she is having with the vehicle, but NONE of our employees have been able to duplicate her complaints.
