I am so glad that I have an opportunity to reply to this complaint. Customers use this as a vehicle to complain, but contractors such as myself have no vehicle to complain about customers.
First of all, my work is not shoddy. I did and...
was paid for the work requested by the customer. Prior to my being paid for the work, Mr. [redacted]'s wife pointed out a few spots that she was not happy with. I fixed those spots to her satisfaction and she paid me. It was not for a week or so later that her husband began calling me. I attempted to call him back 3 times. The first time, I left a message for him on his cell #. The 2nd time he answered the phone but immediately hung up on me. The next day he called again and left me a message. I explained to him that my family would be going out of town for a week for the holiday and he said "don't worry about it". It was another 10 days when he and his wife again began calling.
I did answer all their calls. If the work was so shoddy, why did she pay me to begin with and why did they wait so long to call. There are some people that are difficult to work for and difficult to please. The [redacted]s are those people. I would love to warn other private contractors to steer clear of them. I've been doing this work for over 40 years and people like this are not worth working for.
I was paid for the work done and will not refund any money.
