I made a free consultation appointment. The website for Dan Med says 'book your free consultation'. That's what I did. Dan Med charged $417.The web site says free. My insurance applied an allowed amount to deductible. I am filing an appeal. The web site says free- not $417 to just talk to a lady for 30-40 minutes!

We do offer a Free Phone consult with one our TMS staff members. We then book an intake with a medical provider for 1 hour to assess, diagnose and make treatment recommendations. This is a medical billable visit to a patient’s insurance company. If the wording on the website was confusing or there was a lack of clarity from distinguishing between the free phone consult and the intake we apologize. We have since changed the wording on the website to make it more clear snd reiterated to staff to make the distinction when speaking to potential patients. Thank you.
