I have been a customer for approximately eight years and I've been extremely unhappy with their commitment to customer satisfaction The first big problem I've had was when they installed my hot water tank They recommended a specific brand and installed it Since then I've had three major leaks within the first ~years They claimed it was a manufacturing defect so I contacted the company who sent out another HVAC contractor in the area He claimed it was an installation problem and said take it up with the Dan Sciulli HVAC The kicker was they kept charging me for labor even though the parts were under warranty I ended up spending nearly double the cost of the hot water tank for the first years of use and got no accomodation when I complained that they recommended this particular brand so shouldn't they stand by their choice and give me a break on the labor cost Fast forward to my air conditioning dying during the summer heatwave I paid almost $for them to come out and diagnose a leak The technician was going to leave when I inquired what were they going to do to find and fix the leak He replied that "well we could inject dye in the system" to identify the leak Huh? Sounds like a good idea - so why didn't he recommend this?! So he injected the dye and started to leave I asked if he found the leak He said "well you have to wait until the air conditioning dies again and then we'll come back out to look for the dye." A little over weeks later we called They came back out and found the source of the leak - again charging me for the service fee for the visit and the hourly rate so now I'm down another $for a total of $with a broken air conditioner I assumed that they would not charge me for a whole separate visit since I paid them already to fix the leak and this was a continuation visit Not the case They seemingly have no interest in making sure their customers are happy and satisfied with their service when I've paid a small fortunate over the years to this company for service Look elsewhere
