I followed directions on the company's website for placing an order online and in the requested delivery date I put 12/23/ This was to be a Christmas gift This company shipped my item on 12/8/which will in a likelihood be received weeks prior to Christmas This is not what I requested and negates the purpose of the order I called customer service and waited minutes on hold to be told "sorry for the inconvenience"
Both [redacted] and I were unlucky this winter as a friend ordered me oranges shipped from Florida to the New Mexico, Texas border over the Martin Luther King holidayBecause of the days sitting in Texas the product had some moldy oranges BUT [redacted] 's made it right by shipping me the same order at no cost as the oranges were FANTASTIC! What a fine company!
On 10/23/we ordered cases of oranges to be shipped to family in Michiganthey were to be delivered to nine different locationsthey were delivered on or about 12/ In four of the nine deliveries the oranges were found to be spoiled This is very embarrassing to have to call family to determine if their present is OK> Gregorys blamed it on the USPS
I can clearly see why the Revdex.com would not endorse this companyNot only were they completely incompetent taking my order, when I received my online receipt the names, address, and messages were all mixed up and incorrectWhen I called back to straighten out the errors, they told me what I had ordered wasn't even availableI'd like to know how they could charge me for fruit gift sets and not even have them instock and tell me that they would be there before ChristmasThen they couldn't even offer me a substitute for the gift sets they didn't offer anymore that I paid for and told me it would take days to refund my money Then they hung up on me! This was after waiting an extremely long time on holdBuyer bewareDo not shop here! There are plenty of other places to shop
I used to receive gregory groves oranges as gifts from my mother, but asked her to stop sending them after having issues with them On some occasions the oranges were good, but several times I received a box full of mold covered oranges I lives in the north, where it is sufficiently cold that they would not have rotted in transit They said that they would send new oranges, but never did This occurred more than once
I have received a gift box of citrus from Gregory's Groves for a few years now from my mother in law I have not wanted to complain because of that very fact but I hate to see her get ripped off year after year The fruit has always been of inferior quality and some of it is always spoiled This year was no exception, with several pieces being mushy and the quality of the remaining fruit poor at best Even accepting the fact that it is a "perishable" item, the quality of the fruit is sub par
If you want your order from GREGORY'S GROVES, Florida, by a specific date, do not think you're going to get it just because you select a certain dateI placed three orders December 1, selecting December for shipping dateI received one box when I expected it a week later but not the other twoI wrote to them asking why and when the other two orders would arriveThis is their reply:
"We do not guarantee specific delivery datesSome gifts are shipped out from different facilities and locationsYour last gift has been selected for shipping and should be received shortly."
I finally got the second box but, as of December 19, I still do not have the third box, the one they said has been "selected for shipping"They did not say it had been shippedI will never order anything from them againIf you aren't going to get December delivery, then why do they give you a list of dates to select for shipment? I feel this information should be included on their site because from the way their email reads, not all oranges are from Gregory's, but from other "facilities"
These oranges were to go in Christmas boxes I'm giving out for Christmas and I hope the first box of oranges that has been sitting here 2+ weeks will still be good WHEN and IF I ever get the third box

I recently received an order of Honeybells from Gregory's Groves and I couldn't have been more disappointedFrom all advertising it seemed like I was in for a real treat of some sweet lucious fruitHowever, every one of them was so sour that I was unable to eat even one let alone use them for juiceWill never order from them again let alone recommend them
I had a coupon for free shipping on an entire purchaseWhen I went to place the order, I was charged shippingBecause the items I wanted to buy were on special, the coupon did not applyThe coupon did not state thatI found that out when I called customer service
