To Whom It May Concern,
We sold a vehicle to this family on August 15th
Unfortunately we did not pre install Lo Jack on this vehicle before the family
took deliveryMost of our vehicles we pre install the Lo Jack system before
the vehicle is ready for sale for the convenience
of our customersWhen we
found out this vehicle had not had the system installed we gave the family the
option to cancel the service and told them that we would help refund the amount
to their lien holderWe met on August 28th to cancel this service
and at that time they also decided to cancel the extended service contract they
purchased
The LoJack refund took the weeks to refund off their loan
amount as promisedI let them know that when we cancel a service contract that
was purchased the refund takes longer but would be refunded back in full by
Acura Care within 6-weeks but I would help expedite right awayWe talked to
the client on both October 5th and 12th when she was
trying to refinance her loan to another lenderWe know how frustrating waiting
can be and assured her the process on our end was already completed for both
cancelationsWe verified that the check for the lojack refund was already
processed and paid on her account and that the Acura Care was still pending
refundOn October 15th we verified that the Acura Care refund was
also paid on her account
We understand that these clients feel that we fell short
of the world class service we strive forWe have reached out and let them know
how important their business is to us .They will be in for service within these
next few monthsWe would love an opportunity to help assist them in the future
and welcome them here again

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:Up to this date we have not received the refund for the Acura Care amounting $ The cancellation date was August 20, after we contact them several days on the phone This is more than the 6-weeks that they informed us of the process Because we want to refinance the car to a lower interest rate, I have called Acura Financing several times but they have always told me they dont have received any notice from Acura Gold Coast I dont understand why these two companies do not coordinate or someone failed to inform the other in a timely manner.My account is already closed because of the payoff but where is the refund?
