[redacted] contracted a landscaper to build a retaining wall on east side of pool. The landscaper back filled his retaining wall with dirt instead of stone which settled causing the stone to settle as well, which caused the concrete to settle. Concrete), landscaper and me we could get this resolved. [redacted] talked to landscaper and replied to me via email that it was our fault and we have to resolve the problem.[redacted] then sent me some pictures and they clearly show that the landscaper back filled with dirt and then covered it with stone so we had no idea it was not back filled with stone all the way to the top.  After the mason and I review the pictures we determined it was clearly due to the landscapers negligence.I have enclosed the pictures [redacted] (homeowner) emailed me which the mason and I viewed and came up with our conclusion. If you view the pictures you will see the bare concrete I poured around the base of the pool then in another picture you will see that the landscaper put dirt over my concrete which you can see his zeogrid mesh is also buried with dirt as well. Then in another picture you will see that it is topped with stone so it look like the whole thing is back filled with stone, so the mason an I clearly thought it was. If you have any questions feel free to contact me [redacted]

The wall and landscaping are in great shape and have great workmanship.   Without question Swimming pool creations had full responsibility for the pool, the 4 feet width and depth of back fill needed and the 4 feet of concrete decking.  [redacted] notes in his response "that the landscaper filled with dirt and then covered it with stone so we had no idea it was not back filled with stone all the way to the top."This is total false --- On Tuesday Sept 24, 2013 Swimming pool creation back-filled with stone as shown the photo's [redacted] provided.   [redacted] chose to put stone on questionable soil... and put approximately 4 ft of stone in loose... not placing it in the minimum of 4 lifts required and compaction required between lifts.  In fact [redacted] should recall this clearly as he borrowed the landscapers equipment to perform this poor work.Swimming pool creations was selected because they stated that they stand behind their work and back it with a 3 year guarantee. I had a crank no start issue and was referred to Dana Bros. by a shop that was backed up so I called them and they said they could look at it that day or the following morning depending when I could get it there. I gotta say while having your vehicle in the shop is never a pleasant ordeal, Josh Dana and his team (Ben, CJ and Jordan) were very professional, informative and certainly made this otherwise unpleasant ordeal much more palatable. The communication was unheard of to me, every step of the way I was contacted with issues that they were finding and giving me options which allowed me to make informed decisions in good faith and not feeling that I was held at the mercy of a shop and it's $$$ making agenda. My truck is back online and I plan on returning for suspension work. This is not a big fancy shop but I gotta say they do good work, are knowledgeable, have great reviews and are honest.......what more can I say. Thx Josh and to your team!

I have a 1999 Dodge diesel with 430,000 miles on it and over the last several weeks, it has lost power to the point it could not get out of its own way. Based on feedback from others, I took it over to Josh, and after a day, he found and corrected the problem. Josh kept me informed on what was being done and asked before starting any work that might cost $$$. I highly recommend Dana Brothers as they got my old stump puller back to where it should be and best of all, it did not cost me an arm and a leg, the cost of repair was more than fair.
