I am rejecting this response because: I received papers on July 22nd to go to court on July 24th 2013. I contacted Dana Lent who I was referred by the Womens Advocacy
office in Torrington, Wy. Dana required a $retainer fee before she would see me which I paid. I met with Dana that same day for one hour to prepare for court, I was being taken to court over second cutting of alfalfa hay that my ex *** Fody wanted a portion of. I told Dana I wanted 100% of all proceeds from the second cutting of hay as *** had received 100% of all proceeds from the first cutting of hay. I then had one half hour conversation by telephone the evening of July 23rd before my court date, she requested that I be at her office 1/hour before my court date. I was at Dana's office 1/hour before my court time and waited minutes for her to show and then we ran acrossed the street to the court house as she is telling me that *** and his attorney *** *** want to settle out of court for 60-*** receiving 40%. I was so frazzled and could not even think straight. We went into the court room where *** and Mr*** sat and Dana proceeded to debate with Mr*** as I told her I did not want to settle. They kept going back and forth and wore me down until I agreed to 65-35% *** receiving 35%. It was the most unprofessional situationI have ever been in. Upon leaving the court room Dana spoke with Mr*** and he stated he would write up the paper work. I was very upset after leaving the court house and would not use or recommend Dana Lent to anyone I knew. I have not spoken with Dana since, until April 22nd after I had contacted the Revdex.com. At the time my father was very sick in Colorado and passed away November 2nd, I had not had time to request a statement and had never received one. After the first of the year I started calling Dana's office requesting a statement and refund at one point her secretary told me she forgot to tell Dana this went on until I finally wrote the Revdex.com. Again I did not talk to Dana Lent one time after my July 24th court date until April 22nd. Dana called me at work and said she would send me a statement and refund which I received on April 24th. The refund was for $596.70. Since loosing my father a have been on cordial terms with *** and in the process of discussing our court date found out that Joe's attorney did write up the papers and charge *** for them. *** had Mr*** try to reach Dana on numerous ocassions on different issues and Mr*** told *** that Dana would not return his calls and did *** want to just set up a court date, Joe let it go at the time as he knew my father was sick. Dana's statement is inconsistant some line items have dates some have no dates and some have month and year. I would be happy to forward a copy of the statement and contact information for Mr*** ***. My wish would be to receive a refund for the charges of working up the legal papers from court I was charged hours $and the next line items on the statement that read like this 8/7/2013- consultation opposing counsel regarding items regarding hay and farm land I was charged hours $this did not happen, next line item 8/2013 telephone call to client regarding indivduals that are able to harvest hay and request to keep opposing party away from property I was charged hours $this also did not occur, next line item 8/2013 review of correspondence from opposing counsel regarding request for access to parties residence to obtain tools I was charged hours $this also did not occur in fact we had a sheriff who we called when *** wanted to come for tools it was never an issue, next line item 8/23/telephone call to client regarding opposing party's request and offer of settlement I was charged hours $this also did not occur, next line item 8/23/response to opposing party's correspondence also responded to opposing party's request for settlement of all property issues I was charged $again this did not occur. To say the very least I am very disappointed as Dana was not honest in the statement and refund she sent. I am at this time looking into filing an Ethical Violations Complaint 72K with the Wyoming State Board
