We had a big renovation project and still nowadays I am dealing with the problems affiliated to a poor plumbing workmanshipWe had a bath tub installed but it was installed 3/inch offThat gave problems to the tile person who could not install the tiles I had chosen and as today to the installers of the glass doors since the tub is not leveled with the floorFault was given to the contractor because the subfloor was not leveled
The plumber should have stopped instead of forcing the tub against a smaller space installing it not leveled because it had no way to moveSome of the wood was shaved but it wasn't done right to created enough space for the tub to sit leveled
My opinion Is that even if the floor lets say was not leveled the tub should have not been installed until the floor was leveled A leveler should have been used to make sureThere are no excuses especially when the plumber tries to convince you that the 3/inch off was done purposely to create a pitchBathtubs came naturally with a pitch Extremely disappointed with unprofessional workWill never call him again
