When I found this company for my nephew I felt very lucky. It was easy to get the small bond that required check-ins every monday until the bond was exonerated by a judge. The bail was exonerated and I notified this bonds office as such... My balance was $100 which I was told could be paid when the bond was exonerated. I made arrangements to pay that on my next payday and gave them my debitcard information. A week after the bond was released. They Sent bounty hunters to our home after notification to this bondsman. Who handcuffed my nephew in front of his son and mother. As per an employees response I was told To bring the exoneration document with the final payment on the date that I gave them, my payday 8/7/14. Now they want to charge me an additional$300 for sending bounty hunters After notification of the bond release. I called them and spokr to [redacted] who said he was the owner and who said basically too bad. And that even though I notified their office because they could not find it online I had ti pay the additiional charge. "call your lawyer or whoever you want, we charged you so you owe us. It does not matter what anyone in my office told you when you called to notify us of anything. Untilwe have that paper in our hand we can keep charging you". I said. If your office had told me this I could have sent it overnight. They never implied or infomed me that it was an urgent issue and in fact said it would be "no problem" for me to bring in the document and $100 payment when I got paid. No they are charging me an additional $300 and threatening to take my home.
This business is advertising as Revdex.com certified. They are unethical and unprofessional. They work with your money as long as they possibly can. Once they get your money for a bond, they don't return it until months later than they should. They claim to not ever receive the proper documentation after you mail it, fax it or call them repeatedly. Then they claim they are not in the office and can't check it for you. Their tactics are unethical and it is preferable not to do business with them. I had to contact the Consumers Affairs Division for the Arizona Department of Insurance and their reputation is not a good one. Their employees are rude and condescending and they falsely advertise as a reputable Revdex.com standing business. The owner, [redacted] doesn't even return calls. BE AWARE!!!!!!!
