I have responded to Ms*** via emailThe phone call received at the studio by Revdex.com on Jan 13th was my/our first knowledge of this complaintIncluded in email to Ms*** is the following which includes resolution:

correct that our policy is that we do not issue refundsThat is clearly stated on the form you sign upon registering, on the recital form itself and also on our online parent portalIt is also our policy that drops are done in writing which is also stated on registration form and parent portalNeither of these things are uncommon but rather the policy in other studios also
So being told that there are no refunds was done correctly by whoever you spoke to
I do however sincerely apologize if you were told that I or anyone else would call you back and that did not happen
Regarding dropping the class, I am still in the darkI would love to gain insightIf you signed the contract and paid for costumes and recital fee you obviously had intentions of her being thereDid something happen or was there a reason for the drop? If it's personal I don't mean to pry or need specifics but of course want to know if there was anything in regards to the class or anything studio relatedIn consideration of my offering to alter policy and issue a refund, I hope that you will take time to reply, as it is important to me to knowYou can call me anytime at the number I left on your voicemail or by email
I will have a refund check for you at the studio by SaturdayYou can pick it up at your convenience any week day between 4-pm or on Saturday between 8:am and pm

in addition to above response I personally think that Ms*** should have tried to contact me either by phone or email an additional time to resolve thisI understand that she said she was told someone would get back with her and I understand her frustration that it did not happen, however, I think taking the time to file a complaint to the Revdex.com would have been more considerately spent with another attempt at contacting usMy full time receptionist and part time receptionists do a great job but they are human, sometimes may forget and at times get very busy at the front deskI'm not saying it's acceptable that I was not initially informed that a refund was requested by Ms***, but I am saying that people do forget things at times and no matter how good of a job we do, oversights can and do happen
