Dance Studio

My 9year old has danced here for 5&1/2 years. We put her on the competition dance team,she has had classes since September, practicing for the competition.the studio owner pulled me aside 3months prior to the first competition to advise me that my daughter would not be put in the first 2competitions due to her epilepsy , I then put her in private lessons , the studio owner, [redacted] still refused to put my daughter in the competition because she said my daughter would embarrass herself and the team, she also said my daughter might freeze up - which any child could do,the owner and dance teacher refused to give my daughter a fair chance,but she said my daughter could watch from the sidelines and wear her competition jacket,shoes and costume- I believe this is discrimination.I pleaded with her to put my daughter in, after all I have been paying for the lessons for 6 months along with 2other dances she had to sign up for in order to be in competition..she then kicked my daughter out of her classroom and asked her to find another studio because I advocated for my daughter.the owner knows that costumes for all dance studios have been ordered and my daughter has no chance in signing up again until next fall. She has been issued a no treaspass [redacted] do to her continuing harassment to the business and employees of the business. She has been issued a check for a jacket and the costume has been sent to her .We have receipts for the check and costume that have been sent by certified mail. We also have all paper work for the treaspass [redacted] police report and documentation of her inappropriate behavior. Please contact us if this documention is needed. Final Consumer Response The police did come because the owner did not want my daughter to dance in her studioThe police had too obide because she rents the studioThere was no bad behavior it was felt with in a respectful manner , the police report says nothing about bad behavior or disrespect I can not use the costumes and need a refund pleaseI also need a refund got the classes I paid for and was told my daughter would be on stage and then told she would embarrass hersf and the team
