I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:On July *, my attorney send a letter to the dance studio regarding the stressful situation that the studio had placed upon my daughter, *** *** and asking them for a basic pro-rated refund of $ They did not respond to letter. On their website they advertise that they are committed to providing a nurturing and fun loving environment for their students, their mission is to offer the absolute best dance instruction for all ages My daughter found this not to be true. The studio is offering credit, but my traumatized daughter never wants to take classes there again The paper we signed is not a contract!Dancin' Studio should be ashamed of themselves for treating one of their local families in this manner We are all friends in this small community. We hope they reconsider and return our money so we can put this unpleasant situation behind us!Please find the enclosed attachments regarding The Dancin' Studio's advertisement, as well as the letter that was send by my attorney to the studio on Jul* *, 2015.Thank you for your time and effort.*** ***

*** *** was registered as a student with us. She was enrolled in our hip-hop class on Thursday and our Ballet/Tap/Jazz class on Friday. Our program is a month session which runs from Sept-June. This class
was full and became a "wait-list only" class. Unfortunately, we can not add new students in the month of February as we prepare for an end of year recital, which takes place in June. We do have a contract, which was signed, and I have attached a copy of itI offer methods for paymentIt can be paid monthly (a person comes in and manually pays tuition), they can have it automatically debited to their credit card each month or they can pay in full for the months. If they choose to pay in full, they do receive a discount on their tuition which was the case in this scenario. They chose to take advantage of the discount, and paid in full up front. We even give until the end of the first month of classes to take advantage of the discount, for students and parents to make a sound decision. The DiMaria's registered, starting off with a monthly plan, and then chose to convert to pay in full with receiving the discount, on September **, 2014. *** came for September, October, November & December. In January, I received a phone call from her mother advising that *** "wanted to join an acting class with her cousin" and the time conflicted with her Thursday Hip-Hop class. She asked for a refund for the remainder of the session. I advised that there were no refunds but, as a courtesy, I would give her a store credit for the hip-hop. It ended up being $for the remainder of the season. I informed her that I would I apply the credit to her account, of which she could use at a later timeHer mom advised that was fine, that she enjoyed the class but, really wanted to join this class with her cousin. January *, 2015, a $credit was applied to her accountA few weeks went by and ***'s mom contacted us again to let us know that *** "just didn't want to return anymore". She again requested a refund at this time. After a few calls of missing each other, I sent an e-mail. I have attached a copy of my e-mail, which was sent on 3/*/15. In the e-mail I advised that there were no refunds but once again, in good faith, I offered her a store credit for $which could be used for any program that we offer. I never heard back from anyoneNever once was I informed of any issue or problems with *** in the class. The Hip-Hop class had teacher and assistants and the Ballet/Tap/Jazz class had teacher and assistant. I was extremely shocked to receive this notice from the Revdex.com almost months laterThank you, Jacqueline
