I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Once again, simply outright lying about this situation is NOT a resolution. Nothing Mr D[redacted] says in response is true. I have had other, real contractors take a look at the deck and they absolutely agree with our determination that this work is improperly done, shoddy, not plumb, he used materials which were not needed and only more expensive (this is separate from those materials not used on the job at all, but for which he charged me), and curiously lacked in simple materials like enough screws to hold down the boards.I was often yelled at, harassed and frightened by Mr D[redacted] into letting things go which I should not have. He was WELL AWARE that there were projects to complete and that the deck was unfinished. His last conversation with me, he told me that he needed a part for his power washer and would return to wash the house, close up the fascia and paint and repair the wishing well. He chose to skip away and never return because apparently he has no work ethic, or ethics at all? At the risk of sounding like a broken record, he is a liar, and a person who takes money from people without giving the proper and complete work which was promised in return. His continuing lies mean nothing, because ANYONE who wants to come see the result will see quite obviously that he is lying. I also have all the receipts and paperwork in which he charged for things not used and promised things he did NOT do. I have the truth and the proof on my side. Period. Now make this right Mr D[redacted]. You know the truth too and perhaps your conscience will wake up to that.
