Dang and Sons Towing Auto and Repair

I have a 2001 [redacted] that had broke down on may 17. It broke down on[redacted] which is the street my grandmother lives on. My brother n grandfather pushed my car to my grandparents house until we could figure out what was wrong with it. Dangs auto shop was 1 minute away from my grandparents and he walked down to look at it. At that time dang told me it was my fuel pump that went out. So I bout one off of [redacted].com (I received the pump on may 21) and replaced it for $115 which turns out that my fuel pump was never the problem. So I called dang and explained to him that I believe its a little more than a fuel pump. He mentioned it could be the computer or a short in the wiring and if I brought it to him he'd have it fixed the following day. So my husband and brother pushed it down to his shop. Every time I called he was "working on it now". on may 28 I called and he'd have it fixed in 2 hours. So I decided to go to my grandparents to wait till he had it fixed. We passed by his shop on the way and it was raining and he left my hood up and my windows down with the shop closed. I called and tried to take it back as we waited for over an hour for him to get back when he got there and tried to leave with it the whole inside of hood was taken out and he said to leave it he'd pull in shop and have it fixed by Friday at noon.we left and waited till Friday I never heard till 8pm about my car. So Saturday afternoon I went to pick it up. I noticed a metal plate in my seat and asked he said "no good no worry" so I trusted he replaced this metal plate. I drove home where the car sat until June 4 2014 as my husband and I did our grocery shopping and erins. On the way home my car gets hot and transmission burnt up. We sat in my car in 100 degree weather on the interstate with a 6mo for an hour when a man offered to tow us home. I called and explained the heat shield (metal plate) he left off caused my car to get hot heat up transmission n burnt it up. He said "o well not my problem".Desired SettlementI'd like him to pay to get a new transmission since he purposely left off a heat shield that prevents the car getting too hot and burning something up.
