1) Our shop was not paid $27k2) Our shop was the second shop to work on the FordMr [redacted] had another hot rod shop working on thisThat shop has since gone out of business.3)The vehicle was being taken out of state per Mr [redacted] to be completed, parted out or soldHis words..4) This car was started on in 2006/2007.5) Customer was given invoice's.6) All work was performed in stagesEach stage was completed & then customer paid that amount after work was performedExcluding $owed to shop @ that time.7) Vehicle set idle for a couple of years while Mr [redacted] had moved out of state & then was dealing with personal mattersAfter that he was to pay partial deposit before any work would be done.8)Mr [redacted] paid a partial amount of what was agreed on to get to the next stage of repairsRepairs to the vehicle halted when partial payment was exhaustedCustomer was never told he would get any refundCustomer came to the shop & went over the vehicle with me in person & had no issue'sAbout a week later myself & my employee's loaded all parts into the vehicle & helped load in transport trailer

The facts of this matter are:The vehicle was @ *** *** ***That shop did all of the tear down of the vehicleThey also did all the front & rear suspension & frame work. I sold a used engine & a rebuilt transmission to Mr*** & painted the vehicle frame in He had Wilson's install themAll of the work that we had performed on the vehicle was done in segmentsWork was performed & then paid for after each segment was completedIf Mr*** had any issues with these repairs, why would he have paid for them starting in & not said anything before now? Mr*** called me several weeks after picking up the car & said that someone looked @ the car & that is was not how Mr*** had described Mr*** called me & told me he had his Attorney involvedFrom that point forward I have not had any conversations with him

My Car had not been at another shop, only a local mechanic attempted to rebuild the engine and that was unsuccessfulI never received an invoices only estimatesI would be more than happy to submit all my payment information, estimate information and pictures of the condition of the end product of the car. I can also submit what a California Shop that only deals with custom work and is not primarily a repair shop statedI stated this to Herb Band even asked for his lawyers information so they could sort this out, at that point he ceased all communicationsAt this point if he continues to ignore that fact of his poor performance I would like to proceed legally

Excluding $1587.00 owed to shop @ that time.7) Vehicle set idle for a couple of years while Mr. [redacted] had moved out of state & then was dealing with personal matters. After that he was to pay partial deposit before any work would be done.8)Mr. [redacted] paid a partial amount of what was agreed on to get to the next stage of repairs. Repairs to the vehicle halted when partial payment was exhausted. Customer was never told he would get any refund. Customer came to the shop & went over the vehicle with me in person & had no issue's. About a week later myself & my employee's loaded all parts into the vehicle & helped load in transport trailer.
