We are writing in response to a customer complaintAs we have discussed with both the patients' parent and Anthem,
which we responded to them each and'every time we were contacted, that it was NOT just our policy, but HIPPA's policy when dealing with both Medical and Dental insurances
Some Insurances have a different policy when both Medical and Dental are the same company; however, they NEVER informed us that their policy was differentWe have
had several conversations with the insurance companies, and while they told their insured different, they were telling us that it was submitted correctly
I resubmitted the dental claim on receipt of this complaintI changed nothing on the claim (not one thing was different than the previous filings of the claim), but because the patients' parent is filing complaints, they processed the claim
