The blower was replaced the second time - the financials are being discussed
Review: On 2-2-12 a [redacted] gas insert fireplace was installed in my home by [redacted]. In Nov 2013, the blower on the unit went. After multiple calls, the blower was replaced on 12-16-13. The warranty book states that such parts as blowers have a 2 year warranty. However, we were charged $222.60 for the blower that was installed in Dec. The service tech said it was only covered for a year and my wife believed him. Now the new blower that was installed in Dec malfunctioned the same way as the original. We have had 3 calls into [redacted] with no sign of having the problem resolved. The owner of the company in Nov said that he never had a blower malfunction and we have 2 malfunction? Think we paid a lot of money for a "lemon".Desired Settlement: We would like the blower replaced under the warranty. And we want to know why the blowers malfunctioned. Could we need a whole new unit, not just the blower?We want to be reimbursed $222.60 since the original blower was under warranty.We would like prompt response from [redacted] now and in the future.
