I was writing this email out of concern and frustrationMy husband and I visited your location from STPetersburg and had a horrible experience with your sales rep Sudesh [redacted] AKA JackHe was very unfriendly and told us from the start we would be upside down on our loan and you guys wouldn't give us much on our trade in etcHe also proceeded to show my husband utility trucks because he said that would we would be able to affordWe felt disrespected and we also felt like he did not want to help usMy husband was furious and advised him we no longer need his assistance and we did not want to waste his time and then he walked off and we leftDue to this experience we will never visit this location again for a vehicleFYI we went to another dealership and everything he told us was incorrectYou really need to teach your salesman to sale vehicles and not try to be a finance manager Thank you in advance, The [redacted] 's

This week, my father contacted your dealership about a Ford Explorer you had listed in your inventory online He spoke to Ottis repeatedly, agreed on a final price, the terms for the sale including a pick up date in August, and confirmed repeatedly there would be no surprises I obtained a preapproval letter from our credit union and had everything ready for our meeting with Ottis this morning I made child care arrangement and my father and I drove miles to purchase this car When Ottis met us in the front lobby, he confirmed the agreed on final price (without tax), pick up in August, and that the specific model we wanted was still available He shook our hands and handed us over to salesman John *** Our experience with John was pleasant and we were ready to get to the paperwork after a test drive John assured us that whatever Ottis promised would happen That was not the case Our experience at your dealership went downhill from there We left without the Explorer, disappointed by the dishonesty of Ottis and the complete waste of everyone's time This was not due to a financial situation with a poor credit score or lack of funds If he had kept his word and honored the deal he promised us, we would have left with a new car and you would have a new loyal customer John would have made another sale Instead, I'm out gas money, an entire day, and am still searching for a car dealer with integrity and honest business practices I have sent John an apology that we were unable to purchase from him due to Ottis's lack of ethics and professionalism Ottis was everything negative you'd stereotype of a car sales man He gives good sales men like John a bad reputation
I sincerely hope this was an exception to how your dealership conducts business If Ottis was simply conducting business as you've mandated, I'd be ashamed to call myself a business person If he acted outside of your professional expectations, I'd hope you'd help him recitify this

We've been in the market for a new, small SUV. We had shopped other brands and other dealerships to compare options and value. NO OTHER DEALERSHIP NOT ONE offered the advertised price as the "real" price of the vehicle. Brandon Ford's advertised prices are the real deal. Their dealer and doc fees are on the very low side of what we encountered and are clearly marked on the top of the internet page.

This is the fourth vehicle our family has purchased through Brandon Ford and each time it has been an AWESOME experience. EVERY TIME - the advertised price was the actual price. No hidden rebates we didn't qualify for, and no bait and switch. In fact, in today's purchase, we wound up getting an extra $500 rebate that we weren't expecting. Every deal we've done has been through Lyle H, in the internet sales department. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience. We've purchased many new cars through the years. I wish they were all handled as professionally, ethically and honestly as the experience we've had here. This will be where all of our future car purchases will take place.

The prices are clearly marked on their website. You can inquire directly from the site, email or call Lyle. There is no high pressure pitch. It only took about 3 hours from the time we got there, until we were driving away. That is a pretty good turn around time for a new car purchase, in my experience.

In all 4 deals we've purchased through Brandon Ford, we shopped the price with other dealerships. No other Ford dealership comes close in price. ALL of the new vehicles we've purchased here have been well under sticker price by thousands.

Our family HIGHLY RECOMMENDS BRANDON FORD and LYLE H!! We couldn't be happier with our experience.

After viewing this dealers website for pricing on vehicles they had a section to offer them a price I did, slightly below their advertised price of $27,995 for the Ford XLT and offering to pay a reasonable interest rate even though my credit is not so good my wife and I have a debt to income ratio that is simply fantastic. The sales person that returned my call instead of telling me they couldn't do it they told me the price would be in the $30,000 range thousands over even the advertised price and the interest rate would be scary even when borrowing money from China. This person has no real idea how financing works only that he is going to rake everyone across the coals for as much as they are stupid enough to pay him. Financial situations withstanding, even if they wanted to charge me more interest, larger down payment etc., it is illegal to bait and switch in Florida no matter how you try to hide it. Stay away from this dealer they epitomize all that is dishonest with the auto sales industry.

I was writing this email out of concern and frustration. My husband and I visited your location from ST. Petersburg and had a horrible experience with your sales rep Sudesh [redacted] AKA Jack. He was very unfriendly and told us from the start we would be upside down on our loan and you guys wouldn't give us much on our trade in etc. He also proceeded to show my husband utility trucks because he said that would we would be able to afford. We felt disrespected and we also felt like he did not want to help us. My husband was furious and advised him we no longer need his assistance and we did not want to waste his time and then he walked off and we left. Due to this experience we will never visit this location again for a vehicle. FYI we went to another dealership and everything he told us was incorrect. You really need to teach your salesman to sale vehicles and not try to be a finance manager.

Thank you in advance,
