Review: Two years ago, a month after graduating school I bought a 2000 [redacted]. No its not a [redacted] or [redacted] but its mine and i'm very proud to have purchased it at 21. I have been dealing with [redacted] since getting the car and have nothing but great things to say about them. I have a difficult schedule to work around and they never had a problem meeting me even when the shop was closed to get my car. Unfortunately they are over an hour drive away which makes it difficult to get up there if I ever need something. None the less they are fantastic with the work they have done to my and my fathers [redacted]. In December my [redacted] died on me and since I was in a bit of a rush I had [redacted] take a look at it. They said it was a battery issue and I might have a leak in the coolant line but was no problem if I kept my eye on it. I had them put a new battery in and put the car away for the winter.

Just last week I took the car for a spin since we finally had some good weather. I drove a mile to the gas station from my house in [redacted]. After filling the car I had the same exact problem as I did in December with the car unable to turn over. I called [redacted] where the receptionist told me [redacted] would give me a call himself in about 5 minutes to come tow the car. Mind you im sitting stuck at a gas station, I wait 30-40 minutes and still get no call back. I was finally able to get the car started and drove it back home. Once again I gave ** a call only to find out the receptionist forgot to tell [redacted] that I called and needed help. A bit annoyed but no big deal I decided to still drop my car off with them for the convenience that they are only a town over from me. I dropped it off with them to simply balance the front wheels as well get the coolant problem taken care of. The woman was nice and said it would be done either Tuesday or latest Wednesday. I waited yesterday to receive a call that my car was ready to go but they never called. I finally called them once again to find out they haven't even looked at my car yet. I was already unhappy with them, and now I was really getting annoyed.

This morning before 10 they called me to tell me that they needed to put in two fuel sensors and that my total would be 500. I was a bit surprised because I was waiting to hear back about my coolant leak which the man on the phone told me there was none but my total would now be 648. Started to get really annoyed I asked why in December they told me there was a leak and now theres none. I finally called them back at 3 in the afternoon wondering why I did not receive a call back yet. He had no answer but could only tell me that they are halfway through the job that I did not authorize them to do and it would hopefully be done tomorrow. I asked to speak to the owner [redacted] and was told he was busy but would get back to me. I waited another two hours and never received a call from him. The same person again told me he would call back. I never received a call from him last night. They have now had my car for 4 days and I still cannot get the owner on the phone to stop them from doing work that I did not authorize.Desired Settlement: They made the mistake of performing work on my vehicle that I did not authorize. They can't even give me the decency to have the owner explain the situation to me on the phone and take responsibility for the mistake they made. I do not want them touching my car and want my car back in the working condition I left it there. I have no problem paying for the work I did authorize which was the balancing of the front wheels and checking for a coolant leak.
