Review: On June 18 2024 I signed a contract with Dan Lacroix for him to purchase and install 2 transom windows at my home in [redacted] - I paid him in full for the windows with a personal check $1650.

I called him for over 2 months this summer asking when he would install windows and he gave me several excuses and delays. In that same contract he installed new trim around my garage doors and I paid him a separate check of $500. However when he was at my resident in August he took down some vinyl siding and cut off some trim from my old transom windows.

He said he would be back to finish the work it is now Dec 1 and he hadn't finished the work and stopped returning in in earlySeptember . On Oct 16 I notified [redacted] police and officer [redacted] called Dan Lacroix for me in to this issue and I have this on record with the police department/ I also notified [redacted].

He still never called me and I had to hire someone else to buy windows / install before winter sets in

Finall 4 weeks after the police called Dan Lacroix he called me in mid November, he asked if we could work something because I told him I'm prepared to take him to court.

He verbally agreed that he would pay me back $ 1650 for the windows and would sign a new agreement to pay the debt.

I tried to meet with him several times to begin collecting his installment of the $1650 . (First installment of $400)

He cancelled several times and once again stopped returning my phone calls . I left him a voice my on Monday11/24 asking him to call me and pay me.

I would like this complaint filed with the Revdex.com so other citizens can be aware of Dan's breech of contract.
