I performed 2 weeks labor and she was so satisfied she took out a larger contract with me. She was very demanding and I began to do extra work outside the contract to please her. I performed 2 more weeks of labor with no further payment....


The homeowner received approximately 80% of the original contracted services, 80% of subsequent contracted services, and many hours of non-contracted additional services.
Some of the statements in this complaint conceal or distort the truth.
The homeowner received a power sanding to the entire apartment ceilings, an application of one "final" skim coat to the entire apartment ceilings minus the final sanding (terminated before this step), skim coating to nearly all the walls in the entire apartment - sometimes multiple applications.
Contractor noted that ceilings were not smooth with one application and recommended alternatives to achieve a smooth finish such as installation of drywall. Contractor also protested structural imperfections in the walls and suggested / demanded correction at which point contractor was terminated.
The contracted amount was about $1600-$1800 but the homeowner exploited contractor for additional work. The total services rendered had a market value of in excess of $3000, and after termination the homeowner spent a similar sum to have the work completed.
The contractor is owed money and the client is in no position to ask for a refund.

Daniel Marquardt's untrue distorted response to my complaint is not worth another moment of my time. I filed a Revdex.com complaint so others will know the quality his work is horrible, and his work ethics are unprofessional.
