Plain and simple -- The Proposed Scope of Work DOES NOT include any electrical work regarding an outlet for the Refrigerator If there was some assumption of additional work to be preformed that was outside the original quote then Anne and her husband should have noted that prior to signing the contractThey agreed to the Original Proposed Scope of Work and that was completed as per original proposal This situation was discovered TWO MONTHS after the project was completedRHS sees this as an EXTRA charge for a return trip to the home -- RHS gave a very fair price for the installation of the outlet If [redacted] Does not like the QUOTE for the work and she is free to reject it [redacted] stated -- And I quote -- "I have gotten estimates to put the outlet in for HALF the price that Dan quoted us..." If [redacted] has someone to install the outlet for half the price (my quote is $-- half that is $-- get the outlet installed by that Electrician and have him send me the invoice for the work $and RHS will Pay the Electrician directly By accepting these terms this does not in any way reflect fault on RHS, we are simply trying to resolve this issue without any futher inconvenience to either party RHS Believes this is a fair resolution At this point the Relationship between RHS and [redacted] is damaged beyond repair and RHS feels at this time it would be better for both parties to go there seperate ways Sincerely; RHS

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  We did not expect Dan to put the outlet in for free. We offered to pay for the supplies.   Also, I have gotten estimates to put the outlet in for HALF the price that Dan quoted us ...that HE as the kitchen contractor overlooked.  And these other electricians that gave me estimates  said that  NO Way do you have to remove cabinets in order to install the outlet as Dan originally  told us .   It took us Two months to discover that the outlet was missing because as Dan knew, the house was vacant and up for sale.  We did not notice it until a potential client mentioned it.  As far as Dan saying that there was not a refrigerator on the premises, we discussed and had a computer work up of the one and only place the refrigerator would be able to go. Thank you Revdex.com for your assistance in this matter.
Regards,

anyway that we are to provide an outlet for the Refrigerator. There was prior thought in regards to electrical as noted in proposal. There is mention of relocating an outlet from behind RANGE to COUNTERTOP which was done. It should also be noted that no refrigerator was OnSite during the project. Project was completed and billed on 4/20/2015 -- complaint was filed on 6/22/2015 nearly two months after the completion of the project. I understand that this may have been an oversight on both parties but I should not be required to come back to install and outlet which was not part of the original contract for FREE. I made a visit to the site to look at the situation after being Contact by the homeowner and provided an estimate for the work.Sincerely yours,Daniel McElreavey
