This is a respound to the complain the person that is
complaining is my neighbor and I agree to help her to do the work on her house for the cheapest price as possible but the contract that specify exactly what we going to do on her house after that she want me to fix some stuff they are not on the contract regarding that she still old me $that she never pay plus $for the gutters total of $ for that reason she cannot have any refunds

This is that continue of to complain ...*** *** she complain that the roof vents are showing light to the inside of the house, and that is totally there's a reason they call call vents does a roof vents they need to be open for the moisture go out
#She complain did the garters are not installed properly but regarding to the cold of Chicago need to have a peach down to the draing depends on the log of the house on this case the house is over foots so that is

The company was being nicely with her and we think is she making all this and not paying the $that I was left for the contract

First, I would like to apologize for making an error in calculating the dollars paid to *** ***I paid a total of $for the permits, full roof tear off w/warrantee, tree removal, garage and porch paint and repair to *** ***
This work was being done in anticipation of refinancing my home and further remodeling through *** ConstructionI left the details of the roof tear off and rebuild to him as I trusted him as a roofer
We initially were on good termsSo much so...I got him a small contract with my employer (a manufacturing company)He also was afforded the contract with a Supervisor's outside of my work
There may have been a language barrier or something elseI am not quite sureThe original prices changed considerablyHe would write up a proposal and then discount work and then, he would raise the pricesSo, *** he had a tendency to always be unclear about the price of things
Even though he wrote the proposal out for for the large roof; *** verbally promised to do the whole roof (main and the three smaller roofs) for the He also decided to do the gutters as a giftWhich I had him send me in a text from his phone to mine to validate the new prices
The roof debris totally covered up the porch paint jobOnce the work on the large roof was done, *** promised to redo the paint job to the porchIt never happenedI attempted to wash it down but to no avail, the color just looked filthyMy bright pretty paint job only lasted a monthThe appraisal was done with the porch in the damaged condition; and with the power wash writing on the garage walls
*** cut my trees early in the contractual agreement, he left the cutting debris in the middle of the back yard for three months*** ignored my repeated request to remove the debris..because he was too busy and did not want to pay for the dumpster until laterSome was placed in the dumpster when the roof was done and more than half was removed just a few days before the appraisalI had no green lawn...just a huge patch a very large patch of dirtThe appraiser was confused as to why there was a dark spot that covered up my almost my whole back yard
In December 2013, after the large roof was completed, *** came looking for additional $(that he now says is $1800)There was an additional $however...it was for the interior ceiling water damage that he never completedSomehow, he thought he was to receive that for the roof repairWe disagreed he made a few other attempts to receive the additional payment and then ended all communication between usHe would not return and calls or text messages
Lack of communication made me have the other two smaller roofs done by a different contractor in April This is when I noticed the roofs edges and gutters were not completed in the same mannerThe roofs had a drip edge and flashing on the vent
On April 7, 2014, I began to contact him by voice mail and texts to make the proper adjustments (drip edge and flashing) to seal the roofWe spoke a few times, *** promised to send a worker to take pictures*** also promised as my neighbor he would honor the work and do what whatever I neededNothing has been done...and that is how we ended up here
*** has totally ignored the warranty he promisedThis will leave me with an investment of thousands of dollars with no one available to correct any prior issuesI would truly prefer that he comes by and make the necessary adjustment to his workI am not interested in receiving any refunds UNLESS refuses to honor his work
Pictures are attached of checks paid to *** *** and of the work in question to further demonstrate the remaining repair issuesI also have a picture of the smaller roof that has the drip edge vent with flashing and tar; the gutters installed by the 2nd contractor
I just want to have my home protected from water damageI don't know how to get him to honor the agreements that were madeThat is why I am reaching out to your agency for assistance

MrMedina politely let me know that he understood my concerns and was will to rectify the situationHe respectfully asked that I give him weeks to work me into his scheduleTrue to his word, MrMedina finished all the repairs to the roof, garage and the porch to my satisfaction
Thank you for your assistance and efforts in this matterMrMedian of Medina Remodlers and I are 100% resolvedI am confident that he will continue to honor the warrantee on all of his work
