Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Yes, this company did come back to correct several issues because they were not done correctly the first time Our fence posts were put on backwards and the wiring we asked to be installed on the fencing to keep the rabbits out did not hang below the last fence rail and therefore was ineffective These issues were corrected in a timely manner We never said or even implied that the dirt was intentionally put over the rocks, nevertheless it was The work was done as fast as possible and no time was taken to make sure it was done correctly The work was done in winter and I don't know if the ground was frozen or not All I know is there is at least two inches of dirt placed on top of the weed barrier instead of below it so it does not prohibit weed growth We will have to spend another $to have it redone correctly Daniel has consistently refused to come to our home and inspect it or correct it This business makes it a habit of dismissing his customers if they have complaints and I'm very worried he will not honor his one year warranty for the concrete patio he installed or the trees he planted I just hope we don't have future problems Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We have assisted this customer with a couple of concerns that we addressed immediately and correctedWe did the work that was outlined in the estimate and after all the threading emails/phone calls do not wish to continue doing business with this customerWe would never dig up extra dirt to purposely add on top of the weed barrierWe did this customers yard in the middle of winter, so the ground was frozen

remember that you requested that we put the down fabric and then put back your old rock to cut down on costThe old rock is not clean and could have added to your weed problemLandscape Fabric does not eliminate all weeds.Landscape fabric, also called weed fabric, is a thin barrier that allows moisture and air into the soil, while blocking sunlight and preventing most weedsIt's a semi-permanent solution, because the fabric lasts for at least five years before it requires replacementYou do need to remove any weeds from beneath the fabric before you install it, and only light weeding is needed after it's installed
