In response to Ms. [redacted] claims, ID# 11147734, I was, in fact, hired by [redacted] in Dodgeville, WI. to install a camera system. I did a walk through with Ms. [redacted]’s son, [redacted], in March of 2015. Ms. [redacted] insis[redacted] that I do the walk through with her son and not her. This was her...

request and I was told that [redacted] could make any and all decisions necessary. During the walk through, [redacted] was told at that time that this would be a VERY challenging install and that the outcome COULD NOT be guaranteed. During the walk through [redacted] was told where electrical was needed, and other requirements such as drilling access holes in the building to the outside for wiring, structure modifications for mounting and so on.When the install began, I came to the [redacted] farm and found that NONE of these things had been done. I spent 2 days on sight installing what I could. After spending these 2 days I asked Ms. [redacted] to let me know when the electrician comple[redacted] his work and when the other things were done, and that I would then return to finish mine. The original estimate submit[redacted] to Ms. [redacted] included a computer that met all the requirements specified for the system. Ms. [redacted] refused that estimate and said she would obtain the computer from the local shop in Dodgeville. While on site, I checked the computer that Ms. [redacted] purchased and found that it was FAR below the requirements necessary to run the system.  At that time I instruc[redacted] Ms. [redacted] that she needed to obtain the right computer for the job. As you will see when you look at the emails attached to this email, there was a 2+ month period where Ms. [redacted] did not return any calls or emails. I was told by her son that this was due to some medical issues. There was a period of over 4 months where nothing was done simply because the required electrical reques[redacted] was not finished and the request by Ms. [redacted] that MHTC change some things was not done. Emails da[redacted] 4/10/2015 until an email showed up on 8/19/2015 asking me when I’d be there to finish. All of these things were COMPLETELY out of my control. In the emails da[redacted]5/4/2016 and 5/5/2016you will see that Ms. [redacted] decided to have MHTC, (Mt. Horeb Telephone Company, who is their local ISP) come and make changes to the system. As I explained to you on the phone, this was HER decision and caused the system to have to be COMPLETELY re-setup a second time. After a power outage caused multiple problems with the computer, the cameras, damaged a router that was replaced by my company at NO CHARGE to [redacted], after Ms. [redacted] contac[redacted] an outside firm that, by their own admission,  made changes to the system that affec[redacted] the way the cameras worked, All of these things caused the system to have to be re-setup a THIRD time. This topic was discussed in emails da[redacted], 8/20/2015 and, 9/20/2015.All of these items along with other issues you will see below and in the emails attached, caused multiple problems. All of the attached emails, I hope will paint a pretty good picture that I went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was required and did everything in my power to make this system work to the satisfaction of the customer. I constantly ran into resistance from Ms. [redacted] over different issues, I spent an incredible amount of time there attempting to fix issues that I had told them from the beginning would happen, I had employees tampering with the cameras, required electrical was not put in place, Ms. [redacted] expec[redacted] me to use extension cords in place of the electrical to which I refused for multiple reasons including but not limi[redacted] too; being held responsible for someone’s injury if they would have tripped over the cord, having a cord fail and burn down a building, and so on. After months of attempts to do the best possible job, multiple trips 3 hrs away, (multiple as in AT LEAST 15 trips total), all of the resistance from [redacted] on multiple issues, the worksite becoming a hostile environment, and many other issues that can be seen in the emails attached, I decided that the job was done and I would not return.A refund is out of the question, Ms. [redacted] and [redacted] got MORE than their money’s worth and, IF ANYTHING, they owe me for all the extra time and money I inves[redacted] in this project. If you have any additional questions or would like any clarification on any of the emails attached, I’ll be happy to help.I hope this letter/email answers all your questions and that a negative mark is not the end result toward my company. Feel free to contact me if necessary.[redacted]
