I am responding to the complaint below. We have repeatedly replied to this individual. He did call and was told that the charge was for a dating site. This was not the case and was the mistake of the person answering the phone. As he stated he is a customer of Naughtybids,
listed items for sale on the site, and as a result owed fees for these sales. He was charged $for these fees which he disputed with the credit card company and the credit card company reversed the charge So, this user owes $for fees which he has not paid and thus his account has not been reinstated. I am rejecting this response because: It is not true. I have never been given any explanation for the $34.61, other than the fact that it was for a dating site and responses from the company that it was money owed. It was never explained that it was for goods sold. In fact I had already paid the seller's fees for goods sold. Reviews of this company and this site often mention hidden fees and strong-arm efforts to collect bogus fees. If a client refused to pay the fees, then the account is frozen.
