This is a company that aparrently purachased some kind of debt. They sent a letter, and have been calling non-stop. I have been ignoring these messages (since they are untrue) and that was annoying but fine, until Today between 10:45-10:50 am I received a call at my PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT from a [redacted]. He said he had even called there before. He started the conversation by Lying... he said he was from m&t Bank at first, he said I owed a debt to m&t Bank, to which I informed him that they are my current bank and I see them every week. He then told me it was bank of America. I wouldnt verify anything because I dont know who this guy is, he kept trying to get me to verify different information when I was trying to get off the phone and I told him not to call me anymore. I know for a fact it is illegal to call me about anything like that at work. They have been calling my number certain days over 8 times a day (I have it in m history- they use 3 different numbers) I am demanding that thet stop harassing people and stop misrepresenting themselves. Contacting me at work, and misrepresenting the debt, himself, and who he was calling and representing are just a few parts of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that that company is violating.
