I am very proud to be a Priority 1 Computer customer. Everyone has gone way out of their way to make sure my computer is working to the best of its ability. I am disabled and unable to physically do things, which is very difficult to cope with at times, and my computer is not only my window to the world, it is also my way to make a living. The confidence and helpfulness of this company plays a very big role in my confidence and abilities. I am a CARE supporter and I can't list the number of times, that this company and all their people have been there when I needed help. I am very appreciative. I have recommended them many times, and I know people have taken advantage of their help.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/14) */
Mr [redacted] selected and decided on the lavatory bowls bowls he purchased. Mr.[redacted] is trying to put the responsibility of his decision and choice on another party. Mr. [redacted] is blaming us for his action.
[redacted], HP...

employee, was just giving Mr. [redacted] samples to start his search for a replacement lav. Mr. [redacted] says that [redacted] was just making suggestions in his email.Mr. [redacted] in his complaints changed his wording and says that we made recommendations which is not true.
Mr. [redacted] says that he researched the lavs and got color samples. He must have been very familiar with what he was buying. In his email he says that he choose the one of the samples [redacted] found in a different color. That was his decision. He did not state in his email for us to check his selection. The selection and purchase of the lav bowls was not in our scope of work. We are not interior designers or architects.
Mr. [redacted] selected a lav that will work in the space he has. The lavs will fit.It was a valid selection and choice on his part.
We have done work for Mr. [redacted] in the past and know that he likes to make his own decisions. In the past we have told him that a job should be done one way but he will insist that the job done his way. In this case [redacted] Hart stated that Mr. [redacted] should get all necesary drain appurtenances needed to attach bowls to counter top. Mr. [redacted] did not do this and wanted to try and reuse the old drain fittings. He did not listen to [redacted].
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/06/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Much of what Honolulu Plumbing (HPC) says in its response is not relevant to the situation in which we find ourselves.
We know and understand that HPC was not giving us a recommendation about color or drain appurtenances. HPC's [redacted] specifically told me that he could not tell the true color of the product from the website pictures. When we went back to HPC to confirm that [redacted]'s recommendation in that color was appropriate, [redacted] stated that we should make sure about the drain appurtenances. This dispute is not about the color or the drain, it is about the appropriate size of the vessel.
From the beginning, we told HPC we wanted to replace the vessels. [redacted] came over and measured it and then gave us recommendations of certain items on a web site, except for color. (This occasion was the first time we ever visited the web site he pointed us to.) When we confirmed the color we went back to HPC before the final order for the product was placed. HPC told us very clearly to go ahead. In the correspondence, [redacted] clearly said that if we had simply contacted the office when we were ready to order, he would have assisted in any manner possible thereby avoiding this type of outcome. This is exactly what we did.
Finally, HPC states that this matter was not in their scope of work. There was no contract limiting the scope of work in the manner that HPC describes, either for this job or for any prior job by HPC. We are not in the construction industry at all, but we know that HPC is a company of professional plumbers that has specialized expertise that we don't. That is why, especially for a small job such as this one that typically would not involve an interior designer or architect, we relied on that expertise.
For these reasons we do not accept the response from HPC.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/06/23) */
We do not accept Mr.[redacted]'s response. We did not make any recommendations. [redacted] just suggested some web pages for Mr. [redacted] to start his search. We made no recommendations.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2014/06/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Our point is that when we asked HPC for help in replacing a bathroom vessel, [redacted] came over and measured the existing vessel in front of us and when we sent HPC details on the vessels we proposed to order, [redacted] gave us written approval. HPC now should bear some responsibility for that approval given that the actual size wasn't appropriate.

Priority 1 computers did an excellent job on my husband's laptop. He found himself locked out, as it no longer recognized his password. passwords for [redacted] are extremely difficult to break, but the staff persevered and did not have to revert the lap top to its factory settings. My husband is blind and uses a speech program, it took considerable effort on his part to get the laptop set up for his needs so it was wonderful to hear from [redacted] that he had broken the password, also known as "miracle".
The owner also gave a generous discount on the bill. We are very happy to support this local business.
