We certainly would hope that every used vehicle we sell, would last a very long time, with out having to spend much money on repairsDuring the warrantee period, We did replace the muffler and replaced both noisy,but very much NYSI front struts all at no charge to the customerWe also found that the Emergency brake cables were rubbing on a bracket, making a squeaking noiseSpent time working on a "low idle" concern, again all at no chargeMost these repairs were goodwill When the vehicle first arrived on our lot, we did an hour presale inspection, which included replacing the wiper bladesAll our vehicles go through this inspection process We have spent over $in after sale internal costs on this vehicle, most as good willThe vehicle is production years old and has lived it's life up here in the North Country, home of salt and moreWe know it's never a good thing when a car breaks downBut we can not warrantee these older used cars for an unlimited time We sell NEW cars with a month month/36,mile warrantee, plus more coverages are includedBut of course, they are WAY more expensive
The work that was stated as being done on the car was never doneI have asked for written proof of this and I have not received anything in writing from themThat car should not have been on a sales lot the way it wasI don't care how old the car isThat car was dangerous! It probably shouldn't have passed inspection eitherIt is terrible customer service that they won't issue a partial refundMy daughter who is driving the car is only years oldShe will be purchasing quite a few cars in her lifetimeShe will never buy from Dannemora FordAnd I will make sure nobody I know does eitherThe service department and customer service is horrible! Most of what they said is untrue
