My Chevy Avalanche had broken down due to the transmission giving outThen it had been stolenThe police finally recovered it and I called all over the place to find a shop that would finance the work on my car due to me not having much money at the time but needing my car fixedI called Danny at Dannys Transmission and asked them if they did financingHe went on and said yes and that most likely the work would be between 1500-Now let me say I was completely honest and told him that my credit was terrible and if they offered in house financingHe advised for sure he could get me financingSo he towed my car from Glendale to Chandler saying that it was a free tow service that he providedOnce he looked at it he told me that it was going to be 2400! Then he tells me that I wasn't approved for financing and that if I wanted to get it fixed I had to put downHe completely changed everything that we talked aboutIf I had laying around I would have paid to get it don

My name is *** *** and I'm writing to you today in response to ID#***I listed a car on *** and was contacted by *** ***He expressed interest in it and set a time to come look at the vehicle with his sonWe reached a sale price, he put down a deposit, and
said he would be back the following day as they we using a bank to finance the purchaseI said no problem, I will hold the vehicle for you for an extra day (hours) if need be, because sometimes loans take a little longer to fundWe shook hands and the deal was doneI received a call the next day, requesting me to take the title to Wells FargoI delivered the title and sat there for about thirty minutesThey said it may be the following Monday until it funds because it was over the weekendI said no problemDuring this period I had people stop bye, and three people call on the vehicleI told them, I have a deposit on the vehicle and if the customer doesn't pick up by the following Monday it would be back on the marketThe following mo rning, I received a call from *** and his wife saying the loan didn't go thru because of the age of the vehicleAt that point they asked for their deposit back and I refused to give it back to them. The word "deposit" infers that if you have intent on purchasing something, if for whatever reason you don't complete the transaction you forfeit the depositThis was a verbal agreement made between a potential buyer and a seller
