We have hired DESI Dan's Environ Specs after a referral from a neighbor. At his first visit, the owner of the company [redacted] and his team did a great job.
Unfortunately, it went south after we made the error to pay them in advance for the following jobs...
His team came back to work on our property while we were on vacation. Upon our return, we were surprised to see that close to nothing had been done from the work they committed to do.
A few shrubs had been trimmed (despite them telling us they had done all of them... interestingly enough, almost half of the shrubs still had the Christmas lighting on them... not sure how they could have worked and trimmed them...) herbicide was supposed to have been sprayed in around the property, but the presence of weeds proved the contrary etc...
I called [redacted] to let him know we were not happy. He argued that his team had done the work (which just by looking at our backyard, you could see it was not the case). He then went on telling us that this job (our landscaping contract) was too little work for him, that he was used to bigger projects...
I told him at that point that we should part our own separate way since we were not not a big enough job for him.
To our surprise, he insisted on coming back the following week to finish the work that had not been done and at that time, sit down to find a solution on how to make this work.
Despite his promise to come back the following week to finish the work for which he was paid, [redacted] and the crew of DESI never showed up.
I would never suggest to hire DESI Dan's Environ Specs for your landscaping needs unless you have a big enough project to keep them interested...
