Review: I traded a HundaiElan for 2015 Nissan Rouge with 7,000 miles from Danville Toyota on Feb.27th 2016. I began to have problems with vehicle starting with replacing front Passenger tire due to wearing of tread. I called Danville Toyota and talked with [redacted] financial advisor concerning problem he directs me to call [redacted] Nissan to have front end alignment and due to less than 12,000 miles I should be covered under warranty.

[redacted] Nissan also of Danville Va, asked me to bring vehicle in on May 2nd to have serviced. Received a call later in the day with apologies that they cannot proceed with frontend alignment due to damages to front of vehicle that need repairs as soon as possible and the cost would be 1,800 for repairs. To may dismay I was shocked and surprised that I had traded in my car for a damaged vehicle that was confirmed to me that carfax was clean and car has never been damaged. I asked the sales associate to please give me an itemized invoice for Danville Toyota to take a look at and the provided me with such. I delivered invoice to Danville Toyota ([redacted]) sales manager that evening and confirmed that I should not be responsible for such a bill.

He requested that I should bring Vehicle by on Wednesday morning (May 4th) to have his mechanic look vehicle over and to please bring invoice back with me from [redacted] and they would provide me a loaner vehicle until my vehicle was fixed. I returned to work still dissatisfied due to purchasing a damaged vehicle for that amount of money.

I received a call from an associate by the name of [redacted] that confirmed they were going to fix vehicle and replace tires with no cost to me. I returned to dealership that evening and stated that I was still dissatisfied with things. I expressed to sales manager that I feel he should take the damaged vehicle back and replace with a vehicle comparable to the vehicle I thought I was buying with no change in monthly payments or price. He proceeds to tell me that he cannot reverse things and that was the best they could do was to fix it. I made several calls to owner [redacted] to discuss things with her and she never returned my calls. During the time the truck was dropped of until the following week, no phone calls has been made to me to let me know anything concerning my vehicle until I called [redacted] sales manager to discuss my options and what they could do for me. I expressed my satisfaction again with him letting him no that I felt that was bad business to sell a customer a vehicle that was damaged or either wrecked and was never reported. He states he will check on the vehicle and will call me back with what was going on. During this time is when I called Revdex.com to file a complaint. I feel that I should be able to receive another vehicle from car lot that has not been damaged and they receive this vehicle back. He states that all of the vehicles are checked over and serviced before selling but this particular vehicle evidently was not and sold to me for over 25,000 dollars with a 500.00 payment per month. I feel the vehicle should be taken back by dealership or decrease payments being that it is damaged maybe even choice of another vehicle comparable. Mr. [redacted] stated to me that this truck had at least 3000 worth of damage to it and they were going to fix it. The vehicle must be fixed before putting on lot to be sold to consumers.Desired Settlement: To replace vehicle or decrease price of vehicle and monthly payments. I feel I should not have to pay top price for a wrecked or damaged vehicle where I traded in a very good vehicle that I purchased from them

To whom it may concern, [redacted], ID [redacted], purchased her vehicle on the 27th of February from us, Danville Toyota. This vehicle had been traded in with a clean CarFax. The local Nissan dealership had claimed the vehicle appeared to have been wrecked. We double checked the CarFax, and it was clean with no claim of a wreck. Once we were made aware of the concerns with the vehicle, we immediately began to order the appropriate parts in order to repair any issues on the vehicle. We put the customer into a loaner vehicle, at no charge to her. There are underlining issues on the customers side that explain why we cannot trade her into a different vehicle. Due to privacy laws, I am unsure if I am allowed to discuss those issues with you all since they were not mentioned in her formal complaint. This is what all we have done to resolve the customers concern. Beside putting her in a loaner vehicle since May 4, 2016; we have also completely covered all of her repairs. Here is a list of the work that was performed on the $4166.22 Repair Order. We replaced all 4 tires, including a Mount and Balance plus an alignment. We also replaced tie end arm rod, the A arm, spindle, and two struts. We went ahead and changed the oil, and performed the multi-point Used Car Inspection. We spoke with the customer last night, and she will be picking up her vehicle when it is convenient with her schedule. We are expecting that hte customer will be very pleased with her Nissan Rouge.Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had! Price and trade in value were never discussed until the last moment, [redacted] tried to hide what all was or should I say wasn't on the estimate. Then while waiting on quote prices he asked me "where did you get your attitude from." This was over looked but then they lost the sale because he gave us a ridiculous price for the trade in value of our cars. When asked to have our keys returned to us they again lied and said that the appraiser still had them when in fact this was a ploy to make us wait until the manager arrived. The manager then proceeded to try to show us on his cell phone where he got his quotes from he however quickly scrolled through the screen so we couldn't see anything he was SUPPOSE to be showing us! We told him we just wanted to leave and he then turned around and picked up our keys that had been on the counter the whole time because no one had been in that area since we had been there with him. We Drove straight to [redacted] in Lynchburg traded both vehicles for what we were asking for and had nothing but a Excellent experience. I will from now on be driving the extra 30 mins to Lynchburg for all my vehicle needs and will never buy another vehicle from Danville Toyota again!

The dealership in MD where I live couldn't diagnose my Corolla's problem after three months and over $1K! Danville Toyota identified the problem and had it fixed in less than 24 hours for less than $200. Every single person I encountered was friendly and helpful. After my experiences with my dealer in MD, I was ready to sell my car and wouldn't even think about getting another Toyota. Danville Toyota has made me reconsider that! I rarely write reviews for anything (positive or negative), but, in this case, I feel like the company needs to be recognized.
