Review: I was involed in a motor vehicle accident on 7/03/13. My car 2010 Scion XB Tagasaki Purple was towed to Darcars collision center in [redacted], MD for repair. Having [redacted] insurance the [redacted] facility was to repair it. I had also purchased my car from Darcars cash. The estimate was to be for repairs to be completed in 8 days. I was returned the car on 7/26/2013 after various calls and requests for call backs from the facility to know the whereabouts and status of my car. They did not call me once until I stated I would come over to check myself. Upon return of my car from 7/3/13 to 7/26/2013, 23 days later, I noticed scratches, dents, very bad paint job, window scratches, door was unleveled and aprts not screwed into place. I immediately called and spoke with Darcras to ask what was going on. I was told to bring the car in on Monday 7/29/2013 because I could'nt leave or miss work, I called [redacted] from [redacted] to know what my options were. They had damaged my car and what looks like to have replaced pieces that were damaged with worse pieces. I have photos for proof. I also submitted them to [redacted]. I was asked to give them a chance to repair the unacceptable repairs and so I returned the car on 7/31/2013. They provided me with a rental car and said that my car would be ready in a week or less. I received an email stating that the person fixing my car was not doing a good job and he was replaced and it would be just a while longer, only after I again reached out to my [redacted] rep to find out what was going on. I received an email on 8/12/13 at 10:58 am that said that after being repaired that my car was hit and paint scratched while in their parking lot drying. It is now 8/14/2013 and they have had my car for 1 month and 11 days. I have requested an update and all I receive is excuses. I have no idea what my car or condition it is in.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter of apology. I would like my $500 deductible towards the repair refunded Immediately, and my repairs paid for elsewhere if they are not satisfactory when I finally find out where and in what condition my car is in.

I am very sorry for the amount of time that it took to repair **. [redacted]'s Scion.

When **. [redacted] returned her vehicle we worked with [redacted] to perform the additional repairs.

Unfortunately while the vehicle was on our facility it was damaged so we had to repair and paint the damaged area.

Also, the new glass that was installed shattered and a new glass had to be ordered.

It arrived on August 21, 2013. The repairs were completed on August 22, 2013 and **. [redacted] picked up her vehicle on August 23, 2013.

DARCARS paid $881.01 to [redacted] Rental Car for the rental that **. [redacted] was in during this repair process.

I agree the process took too long and we truly apologize for the inconvenience that this caused.
