Failure to fix reported problem along with not returning equipment picked up to be repairedThe contractor installed an irrigation drip system which had issues from day one about 3 years ago. During the last three years we have placed too many calls attempting to get him to fix the problem. A second problem cropped up a year ago when the irrigation pump broke. He did finally get hold of him and he came out to look at the problem. It took daily calls to him to answer. He took the broken part so he could identify the issue, but as of a year plus later we can not get him to return our calls. We leave messages on his mobile and with the woman at his office, but there still has been no response.Desired SettlementWe would like the irrigation system fixed and the broken part to be repaired and returned. Business Response Customer paid to have a drip irrigation system installed. Customer was shown how to operate system as well as to properly shut down system for winter time use. The backflow valve was not removed by customer as instructed for winter time and cold temperatures. Backflow valve is broken beyond repair. A new valve can be supplied and installed but will be at expense of customer as it was customers sole responsibility to remove valve prior to freezing temperatures. Valve was picked up by Darco to assess and see if repairs could be made to backflow valve but was damaged beyond repair. Darco had informed customer of needed repairs, however customer did not agree to pay for repairs. Darco will be glad to make repairs necessary with free labor of customer agrees to pay cost of backflow unit only. Consumer Response The drip system was installed, however, shortly after issues began with the system not working properly. Having Darko come look at the system never came to pass. The back flow system did fail due to not being winterized. We knew this and was the reason we called Darko to pick the unit up. Once Darko took possession of the back flow unit we never heard back from him. We reached out to him and his assistant many times over a 1+ yr period to learn the status of the back valve unit. Until this complaint, we had no idea the unit was "beyond repair". At this point we would like to know the cost to repair and the make and model of the back flow unit so we can determine the best path forward to getting our system working again. This could have been resolved much easier if our calls were not ignored. Consumer called to say his complaint has been resolved.

I am writing to give a positive review for this company. Darco recently put in an absolutely beautiful paver patio and fire pit. They were quick, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. They also removed all of our old landscaping around our home ..cleaned everything up and went out of their way to do a great job. Thank you [redacted] for your excellent work.","pos-1
