Owner was accommodating and apologetic for the inconvenience and gave guest her personal email, if she were to have any questionsGuest sent Owner email that night explaining she was still unhappy that there were "spots" in her colorOwner agreed to have guest come in 11/24/once more to adjust colorGuest came in and explained she no longer wanted to continue to adjust the ombre/balayage, that she now wanted to go back to her natural colorOwner explained to the guest as follows: "Because we have applied lightener on your hair times in the last days, I think it will compromise your hair if we place a permanent color on top of the previously lightened hairHair that has been previously lightened has an open cuticle, and by forcing color into that cuticle it will cause a "muddy" or green looking resultThe best route is to place a Demi-Permanent Color on your hair, which lives outside of the cuticle, and will conceal any imperfections until your hair can withstand another lightening service." Guest understood and agreed, and upon drying was more comfortable with the outcomeGuest was given over $in retail (Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner and a take home Step for Olaplex) and Owner offered to "continue to get her hair healthy" by giving guest free Conditioning and Restorative Treatments until her hair was back to the original stateGuest called and made an appointment for 12/18/for a Balayage and Cut with OwnerUpon arriving, Owner asked guest what the overall goal was (Prior to this appointment guest had expressed wanting to go back to her natural color with no Balayage or Highlights.) Upon receiving this information guest said that she had to call her husbandGuest walked outside to call, but had no answerGuest came back in, and stated that she did not want to pay for this service, and she would "find someone who would not charge as much." Owner very calmly said she understood, and explained she would honor the previous promise from 11/24/on continuing to get guests hair healthy by free deep conditioning treatmentsAfter guest left salon, guests husband called the business asking for the Owner's name, and then proceeded to file a complaint for wifeOwner contacted said husband, and explained how the salon had been overly accommodating, and would get his wife's hair back healthy by offering free deep conditioners, but because she was now wanting a different service that it would incur an additional charge, at a discounted rateOwner explained that the reason for no refund was not only salon policy, but because the salon went above and beyond to accommodate and rectify the situation, and guest left happy on date of last service (11/24/15.)
