In reference to the complaint filed with ID ***
-0.1pt;">The Min question was never sold to anyone; I was receiving payments from an individual that intended to purchase it, however, he declined to finalize the sale and the Mhas been shipped to the local FFL the original owner provided meI had begun sending money to the original owner but stopped after the sale of the firearm was discontinuedThe original owner desired details about the individual that was in the process of purchasing the firearm; I declined to answer any questions as it would have violated the privacy of my customer(s)All state and federal guidelines for the disposition of firearms have been followed and all records are available for BATF inspection at any time as required by my FFLThis was done as a personal favor to the original owner to sell on consignment and provide him with the money gainedAs the final transaction never took place there is no reason to provide any money relating to the MAdditionally I included upgraded accessories for the Mat the time of shipping (quad rail system and muzzle compensator)
In regards to the HK pattern receivers, the original deal was a trade for services and the use of my FFL to make a receiverThis was not done with any timeline whatsoever and the customer repeatedly instructed me to take my time and to complete the project whenever I could get around to itThe customer provided me with the initial tooling required to perform the desired task of bending the HK flats after serializing and marking in accordance with BATF regulationsOnce the flats are bent they are now considered firearms and were logged into the required books and are available for BATF inspectionThe first firearm was a 9mm pistol that was completed and fully functionalAll completed weapons are fully inspected and test fired with a minimum of one full magazine before being considered ready for purchase, this one was test fired 100times in
accordance with the customer requestThe customer came to pick up the pistol, test fired it with 50rounds of 9mmHowever, due to having an out of state driver's license and no military orders to the state of Texas, I instructed him that I could not transfer the pistol at that time but would have to ship it to a local FFL holder for transferThe customer took pictures of the pistol and returned to his state of residenceThe customer also provided me with a check made out to myself a short time later with the note "guns" written on itI did not ask for the money but was instructed to use it toward the HK receivers and any additional money from that amount was mine to spend as I desiredAfter about a week the customer sent me a power point document with desired improvements of the 9mm pistolI immediately disassembled the pistol and began stripping it to rebuild it to the desired specsI temporarily stopped work on the HK receivers for some months as I acquired new and improved tooling and increase the quality of the work I was able to performSince I was instructed to take my time on numerous occasions when communicating with the customer, I worked on other projectsIt was during the building of the
2nd r= i==,
x (a rifle receiver) that I was instructed to return all tooling and parts and ship the receivers to the customers local FFL if I no longer wished to continue the projectSince I was certain that none of my efforts would ever make the customer happy, I complied and returned all parts and tooling related to the HK projectThe condition of the receivers and related parts was due to the work being stopped and returned before it was anywhere near finishedThe check included for is the cost of bending and spot welding the receivers together and filing the proper paperwork, since the customer stated the check was to cover the cost of making the receiver and the rest was for my personal discretion I do not feel required to return the amount givenSince the Mthat the check was originally intended for has been returned I will stop issuing checks to the customer
It is my belief that if the customer in question was so dissatisfied with my work the first time, he had no logical reason to continue business with meAdditionally during the holidays when I was too busy to respond to emails or texts the customer never called once to inquire about statusHowever, when the customer asked for the return of all things related to the HK project I complied and had it shipped out as soon as I received the signed FFL copy from the local FFL and sent the shipping invoice to his emailThis customer is conducting a personal attack on my business, myself and has stated he plans to continue to do so across social mediaI accept that regardless of my action or inaction I cannot allay this customer

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Here we go with the story changing once again! Apparently the gun was sold, now it is un-sold. reference the attached emails/[redacted] chat where I agree to the sale for 700 USD but reject accepting 100 dollar payments and prefer he collect them as not to lose track of the money. he then notifies me that the sale is complete. I also have several where he offers to pay in "installments" because of a "banking issue"
I and the BATFE firmly state that there is NO such thing as an FFL doing a "personal favor" transfer of a FIREARM! this is highly frowned upon. he states that any trade was for utilization of his FFL BUT also to utilize his ability to legally manufacture. thus [redacted] and DAREING ARMS are the SAME THING. any dealings were with "[redacted]" as a manufactuer. I cant seem to get this through to him that as buddy- buddy as we were (we have a mutual friend, whom he promised that he would return my money to, this was stil a deal between his business and I.
He never completed the HK pattern rifles, or bought ANY parts with the 1000 dollar check I provided him toward finishing the guns. what he did do was take a wire grinder and grind the finish down on the Mp5 pistol in an attempt to hide the imperfections (i assume with bond-o). He never ground down the welds on the G3 flat and they were improperly welded.
I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW HE JUSTIFIES CHARGING ME 1000 dollars for work HE DIDNT COMPLETE. IN FACT, HE RUINED MY GUNS. Now he's claiming the 100 dollar check he sent was a refund against the 900 it cost me to fold a flat, weld it sloppily using welding techniques not safe for firearms and to completely screw up my mp5 flat?
He's right. start cooperating AND DOING THE RIGHT THING or i'm going to post pictures of your work on every gun message board and happily share my experience with DAREING ARMS with them. what you are doing is STEALING. you've already misled the Revdex.com and myself to believe you sold a gun you miraculously now have back in your possession. and that the check was yours to spend. NO it was yours to spend AFTER you restored my firearm to the condition I wanted. it had a stoppage during the very first magazine fired.
Regards,
[redacted]
