D.A.R.N. Cooke Company, Inc.

On January 12, 2012 Cookes Automotive replaced the timing belt, hydraulic tensioner and water pump on my 2002 Lexus SC430. Ten months later the car overheated and Lexus of Austin had to replace the exact same parts. According to [redacted], the timing belt was installed backwards by Cookes and the tensioner was the wrong size. I sent a letter along with receipts to Cookes and [redacted] called me back. While she disputed the claims made by [redacted], she did say that she would "do something". She wasn't sure what that would be but she said she would offer a partial refund. We spoke in February 2013 and she has not called me back with any kind of settlement.
